Captain app for waiters
The captain app lets a waiter take an order at the table on their own phone. You create a login for each captain, share one sign-in link, and their orders arrive in your dashboard like any other. It is an add-on sold on request.

Add your captains
Step 1: Open Captains
Click More → Captains. The Captain Management screen lists your captains and the sign-in link to share. If it says captain ordering is not enabled, ask Menuthere support to turn it on.
Step 2: Create a login for each captain
Press Add Captain, enter their Name, Email and Password, then press Create Captain. An email already used by another captain is refused.
Step 3: Share the sign-in link
Under Captain Login, copy the link and send it to your captains. They open it on their phone and sign in with the email and password you set.
What a captain does
- The captain sees your menu and a cart. They choose Dine-In, press Select Table to pick the table, add dishes and press Place Order.
- Today's Orders shows the day's orders, and Edit Order changes one.
- The order reaches your dashboard like any other order.
- A captain is limited to their own screen. Signing in as a captain does not open your dashboard.
