Get orders on your WhatsApp (Free plan)
Add your WhatsApp number in Store details and every customer who places an order sees a green Send Order to WhatsApp button. It opens a chat with you with the items, total and delivery details already typed. This works on every plan, Free included.

Set it up
Step 1: Add your WhatsApp number
Open Settings → Store details → Details. Type your number in WhatsApp number, then press Save. Customers get this number, so use one you check often.
Step 2: The customer places an order
Nothing changes for them while they order. When the order goes through, the confirmation screen shows the extra button.
Step 3: WhatsApp opens with the order written
The customer taps the button. WhatsApp opens a chat with your number and the order is already in the message box. They press send.
What the message contains
- The order ID, the order type or the table, and the time.
- For delivery, the delivery address and a map pin when the customer shared their location.
- The customer's name and phone number.
- Each item with quantity and price, then the subtotal, tax, delivery and packaging charges, any discount and the total.
- The customer's note, if they left one.
Good to knowThe customer sends this message from their own phone, so it only arrives if they press send. The order is in your dashboard and partner app either way. The button is not shown on some payment paths, such as an online payment completed at checkout or a store that shows a UPI QR code for payment, and it is not shown for Petpooja stores.
Questions
Which number does the button use?
The first number in your list of WhatsApp numbers. If you have not added one, it uses your store phone number.
Can I get automatic order updates on the Free plan?
Not from your own WhatsApp number. Sending updates from your number uses the WhatsApp Business API, which starts on Pro. Customers can still follow their order on the order tracking page.
Does this cost anything?
Menuthere sends nothing here. The customer writes to you from their own WhatsApp, like any other chat.
