Order updates to customers
Menuthere comes with six ready-made order flows: placed, accepted, food ready, dispatched, completed and cancelled. Each sends a WhatsApp message from your default number when the order reaches that status. They start switched off, so you turn on the ones you want.

Switch on order updates
Step 1: Connect your number
Updates need a connected WhatsApp number. See Connect your WhatsApp number.
Step 2: Open Flows and turn on the order flows
Open Sales channel → WhatsApp → Flows. Flip the switch on Order placed, Order accepted, Order food ready, Order dispatched, Order completed and Order cancelled, or press Turn all on.
Step 3: Edit the wording if you like
Open a flow to change its message. Values such as {{customer_name}}, {{order_id}}, {{items}}, {{total}} and {{store_name}} are filled in for each order.
What each flow sends
| Flow | Sent when | What the customer gets |

| Order placed | The order is placed. An online order counts only once payment is complete. | The items, the bill and a View Order button. |
| Order accepted | You accept the order. | A confirmation with the order number. |
| Order food ready | You mark the food ready. | A ready message with the items. |
| Order dispatched | The order goes out. | A message with driver details when known and a Track Order button. |
| Order completed | The order is completed. | A thank-you with the total and a Reorder button. |
| Order cancelled | The order is cancelled. | A short note that it was cancelled. |
