How much does a restaurant ordering website cost?
By the Menuthere editorial team · Updated
You can have an ordering website for your restaurant for free. With Menuthere the Free plan is $0 (menu, ordering website, QR codes and 50 orders a month) with 0% commission; the Lite plan ($17/month) adds your own domain and card payments, and Pro ($39/month) adds WhatsApp and loyalty. There is no per-order percentage and no contract. Updated October 2026.
- Free plan: $0, 0% commission, 50 orders a month, menu, ordering website and QR codes.
- Lite plan: $17/month, your own domain, card payments, no Menuthere badge and unlimited orders.
- Pro plan: $39/month, WhatsApp ordering on your number, loyalty and your own riders.
- No commission per order on any plan; if you take cards, the gateway charges its own fee separately.
- A custom or agency website costs much more and usually takes weeks; this is ready the same day.
Your ordering website ready today, free
Menuthere gives you an ordering website, a QR menu and WhatsApp ordering with 0% commission. Import your menu from a photo or PDF and start on the Free plan at $0; move to a paid plan only when you need it.
What does each plan include and cost?
The Free plan is enough to start taking orders: $0, 50 orders a month, menu, ordering website, QR and 0% commission. When you want your own domain, the badge removed and card payments, you move to Lite ($17/month). Pro ($39/month) adds the WhatsApp Business API, loyalty and your own riders. Every plan is month to month, no contract.
| Plan | Price | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Start: menu, ordering website, QR, 0% commission |
| Lite | $17/mo | Your domain, card payments, badge removed |
| Pro | $39/mo | WhatsApp, loyalty, your own riders |
Is there a per-order commission or only the fee?
Only the fee. Menuthere is 0% commission on every plan, including Free. The only separate cost is your payment gateway's card fee, charged by the gateway and not Menuthere, and only if you choose to take cards. That is why a flat fee beats paying a percentage to a delivery app. See commission-free ordering.
Who this is a good fit for
- Restaurants, cafés, bakeries and cloud kitchens that want to sell online without paying for an expensive build.
- Owners who want to start free and move to a paid plan only when they grow.
- Businesses that want their own domain and card payments without building a store from scratch.
Who this is not for
- Those who need a bespoke corporate website with reservations, a blog and unique design; that is a separate agency project.
- Those who run floor, kitchen and inventory and need a full POS: an ordering website does not replace a POS.
Common follow-up questions
Can I really have the ordering website for free?
Yes. The Free plan is $0 and includes your menu, an ordering website, QR codes and 50 orders a month with 0% commission. Past 50 orders the menu turns view-only until the 1st, or you upgrade to an unlimited paid plan.
Is there a sign-up fee or contract?
No. Plans are month to month, with no contract and no sign-up fee. You pay only the monthly fee of the plan you choose and can change or cancel whenever you want.
Is the card fee Menuthere's?
No. If you take cards, the fee is charged by your payment gateway, not Menuthere. Menuthere keeps no percentage of the order on any plan.
