DoorDash lists no activation, subscription, software, cancellation or contract fee. The extras are tablet rent, marketing spend, and card processing on Online Ordering orders only; order error charges can also apply.
- Tablet: $6 a week in the US, $3 in Canada, $0 in Australia and NZ, and free during the trial.
- Marketing: Promotions and Sponsored Listings are paid, and Sponsored Listings are charged per order, not per click.
- Online Ordering, for orders from your own site, has 0% commission but standard card-processing fees apply.
- Error charges: for missing, wrong or poor-quality items, DoorDash may charge you 25%-100% of the item price plus tax.
- Commission is separate: see DoorDash commission in the US or alternatives to DoorDash.
