Who pays for the discounts I offer on Zomato?

You do. Zomato's contract says the cost of a promotion discount is “completely funded by the Restaurant Partner”, and Zomato Gold discounts are deducted from your payouts too.
- You set the promotion's terms; Zomato approves it and decides where it is shown.
- Zomato does not guarantee the reach or performance of a promotion.
- You can opt out of a promotion at any time without notice; Zomato can end it with 1 day's written notice.
- Zomato Gold discounts are also set by you and apply only to delivery orders.
- Zomato's own fees on each order are covered in Zomato commission in India.
Run offers on orders you keep in full
On your own Menuthere ordering website and WhatsApp, you set coupons and offers yourself and no commission is taken from the order, so a discount is the only cost you choose.
