Can I charge higher prices on delivery apps than in my restaurant?
Updated 13 October 2026
It depends on the app and the country. Some apps ask you to match your own prices and some reward it. Terms differ, so read your own contract.
- Uber Eats US terms use your in-store price as the app price. Uber may change the app price to match; failing can mean removal.
- Deliveroo UK scores price mark-up on your top 20 items against the lowest of your takeaway, dine-in or collection prices.
- Lieferando in Germany requires you to align prices with your own website. A breach is charged to the restaurant.
- New York City bars platforms from requiring the same price as a condition of service. Some cities limit same-price terms.
One fair price on your own channel
Orders on your own Menuthere link carry no commission, so you can keep one fair price there instead of padding menus to cover app fees.
