Can customers pay inside Facebook and Instagram Shops for food?

No. Since September 2025 Shops on Facebook and Instagram use website checkout. Customers are sent to your own website to pay.
- In-app checkout and post-purchase management in Commerce Manager have been discontinued.
- So a Shop is a showcase, and the order happens on your site.
- Your website needs a working menu and checkout for food.
- Use the same link in your bio, posts and Shop.
- Test the link on a phone before you share it.
Send Shop clicks to a real ordering page
