Do I need a website to use the Google, Instagram and Apple Maps order buttons?
Updated 6 October 2026
In practice, yes. Google order links and Apple Actions send customers to a web page, and Instagram food orders need a partner setup. One ordering link can feed all three.
- Google: your own custom links send customers to web pages where they can place orders, and show on your profile in Search and Maps.
- Apple Maps: an Action must point to a page on your website, and you can create only one Action per type.
- Instagram: food orders need a business or creator account and an existing account with a partner from the list in your country.
- Using one ordering page for all three keeps your orders in one place.
