Can I accept international cards on my Indian restaurant website?

Yes, through Indian gateways, but they cost more than domestic cards. Cashfree lists 2.99% for international Visa and Mastercard, and PayU lists 3%.
- Cashfree: 1.95% for UPI and domestic cards. International Visa and Mastercard are 2.99%, international AmEx 2.95%.
- PayU India: 2% for domestic Visa and Mastercard, 3% for international, plus 18% GST on all transactions.
- Stripe India (invite only): 3% for Visa and Mastercard issued outside India, plus 2% if currency conversion is needed.
- Check the gateway's page for the current rate and whether international cards must be switched on.
Card and UPI money goes to your account
Online payments by card and UPI go to your own gateway account, Razorpay or Easebuzz in India. The money settles to your restaurant and Menuthere takes no cut.
