How do I tell waiting customers the kitchen is running late on WhatsApp?

Save a quick reply with the delay, and send it to each open order with the / shortcut. Do not use a broadcast list for people already waiting.

• Quick replies: type / in a chat to pull them up. WhatsApp allows up to 50 stored quick replies.
• Write it once: for example, "Sorry, your order will be about 20 minutes late."
• Avoid broadcast lists here: only people who saved your number receive them.
• Broadcast replies come back as separate chats, which can mix up orders.
• Say it before they ask, and give a new time.
