A white label food ordering app with your restaurant's name on it
Updated October 19, 2026
A white label food ordering app is an ordering app that one company builds and runs, published under another business's name and icon. For a restaurant, that means customers download an app called after your restaurant from the App Store and Google Play, while the ordering system behind it belongs to a software company. Menuthere's Branded App plan works this way, and we do the setup for you: we build your Android and iOS app, publish it under your restaurant's name, and connect it to your menu, orders and customers. It costs $99 a month ($990 a year billed yearly), store developer fees included, with 0% commission on your orders.
In short
- White label = a proven ordering app, wearing your brand. You don't pay for custom software, and you don't build anything yourself.
- Your name and icon on both stores: Menuthere builds your app and publishes it on Google Play and the App Store. Apple's and Google's store fees are included.
- Nothing to pay at signup. Your first month is paid before we start building, and it counts from the day your app goes live.
- Customers order, pay, see their loyalty points, reorder and track delivery in your app, and get order updates as push notifications.
- Everything in Pro behind it: WhatsApp ordering on your own number, loyalty points, your own riders with live tracking, advanced analytics and several outlets.
- $99 a month, 0% commission. No free trial on this plan; press Get your app on our Branded App page, or book a call first.
What "white label" actually means
Search for "white label food ordering app" and you'll find three different things sold under the same name. It helps to know which one you're looking at.
| What's sold as "white label" | What you get | Who does the work |
|---|---|---|
| App scripts and source code | Code for a delivery app that a developer installs, brands, hosts and publishes | You or a developer you hire, including store submissions and updates |
| Development agencies | A custom app built for your restaurant, quoted per project | The agency, then ongoing hosting, updates and store renewals |
| Ordering platforms with a branded app (Menuthere, Owner.com, ChowNow and others) | The platform's ordering app under your restaurant's name and icon, connected to its ordering system | The platform builds and publishes it |
Menuthere is the third kind. Your app is Menuthere's customer ordering app, branded as yours, running on the same menu, orders and customer list as your Menuthere ordering website. That's why it can cost $99 a month instead of a project fee. If you need features built only for your restaurant, a custom build from an agency is the better fit.
What you get with Menuthere's white label app
| You get | What it means |
|---|---|
| Your own app on Android and iOS | Your restaurant's name and icon on Google Play and the App Store, published by Menuthere. Store developer fees are included. |
| Ordering and payment in the app | Customers browse your menu, order and pay, and reorder a past order in a tap. |
| Loyalty points and live tracking | Customers see their loyalty points in the app, and track their delivery live when you use your own riders. |
| Order updates on customers' phones | Each order's status is pushed to the customer's phone. |
| Unlimited push notifications | Send offers, festival specials and announcements to all app users or followers only: now, scheduled, or repeating daily or weekly, with an optional image. |
| Everything in Pro | WhatsApp Business API on your own number, loyalty points, your own riders with live tracking, advanced analytics, several outlets and discounts. |
| One dashboard for app and website | The same menu, orders and customers across your ordering website and your app. Change a price once and it changes everywhere. |
| Staff app | Your team takes orders on the Menuthere partner app for Android and iPhone, which rings until each order is accepted. Staff don't use the customer app. |
| Priority support | Priority support for your store, and a call with our founder before we start building. |

Is a white label app right for your restaurant?
An app isn't the first thing every restaurant needs. A quick test:
- Most of your orders come from new customers? Start with a website. People who find you on Google or a QR code won't install an app to order once. Menuthere's free ordering website runs on the same menu and dashboard, opens in the phone's browser, and can be added to the home screen.
- You have regulars who order every week? That's when your own app pays off. Your icon sits on their home screen, and a push notification brings them back without paying a marketplace.
- You want app features nobody else has? Then white label isn't for you; talk to an agency about a custom build.
You can start on Free, Lite ($17 a month) or Pro ($39 a month) and move to Branded App later. Your menu, orders and customers come with you.

Frequently asked questions
What is a white label food ordering app?
It's an ordering app built and run by a software company and published under a restaurant's own name and icon. Customers see your brand in the App Store and Google Play; the ordering system behind it is the company's.
Can you give me an example of a white label app?
A Menuthere Branded App is one: a restaurant gets a customer app with its own name and icon on the App Store and Google Play, while Menuthere builds and publishes it, and it runs on the same menu and orders as the restaurant's ordering website.
How much does a white label restaurant app cost?
It depends on the provider. Menuthere's Branded App plan is $99 a month, or $990 a year billed yearly, with Apple's and Google's developer fees included and 0% commission. Ordering platforms such as Owner.com and ChowNow list higher monthly prices on their own pricing pages, plus per-order or per-transaction fees.
Who publishes the app, and who pays the store fees?
Menuthere builds your app and publishes it on Google Play and the App Store for you. Apple's and Google's store fees are included in your $99 a month, so you pay nothing extra to either store.
How long does it take to get my app live?
We don't promise a fixed date, because store reviews vary. Apple says most apps are reviewed within a day, and Google says some reviews take a week or longer. We handle the reviews and tell you when your app is live. Your subscription only starts counting from that day.
Do you take commission on orders?
No. Menuthere takes 0% commission on every plan. The payment gateway you use for card payments charges its own processing fee.
What is a good food ordering app for small businesses?
Start with what your customers need. For first-time customers, a free ordering website is enough, and Menuthere's is free with 0% commission. When regulars order every week, your own app with push notifications helps bring them back, and that's what the Branded App plan is for.
Is there a free trial?
Not on the Branded App plan, because we build and publish an app for you. But nothing is paid at signup: your first month is paid after your call with us, before we build, and it counts from the day your app goes live. You can also try Lite or Pro free for 7 days first (a card is needed to start; nothing is charged until the trial ends).
Can agencies resell a white label restaurant app?
Agencies and consultants can join Menuthere's growth partner programme: you earn 20% of what each restaurant you bring pays for its plan, Branded App included, every month for as long as it pays. The app is published under the restaurant's own name. For anything beyond that, talk to us.
