The best commission-free online ordering systems, scored

Commission-free means the platform takes no percentage or per-order cut of the restaurant's own orders — only a subscription, and card processing by the payment provider. These seven do that. Four include ordering on a free plan, and published prices start at $9.90 a month. What the customer pays on a commission-free order is what the restaurant keeps, minus card fees.

1. Storekit

UK restaurants and groups that want commission-free pickup, delivery and catering ordering under their own brand, with QR order-and-pay and pay-at-table on the Pro plan.

Storekit runs branded pickup, delivery and catering ordering on the restaurant's own domain with 0% commission on every plan and channel. A free Basic plan takes orders; Grow is £99 a month and Pro £199, adding QR order-and-pay, pay-at-table and kiosks, all rolling monthly with no setup fee.

storekit Payments, powered by Adyen, takes cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and regional payment methods (a June 2025 copy of the help centre has articles on accepting Klarna and on iDEAL in the Netherlands). Payouts arrive about two working days after the sales day. Payment currencies: GBP, EUR, USD, CAD, AUD, NZD, CHF, SEK, DKK, NOK, ZAR and ALL. The docs list Poland, Mexico, Turkey and Morocco as supported countries without storekit Payments.

Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Branded app · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations · Menu translation

  • 0% commission on every plan and channel, no setup fee, and a free Basic plan for pickup and delivery with no monthly fee. Basic, Grow and Pro are rolling monthly, cancel any time (pricing page).
  • One platform for pickup, delivery, catering pre-orders, QR order & pay, pay-at-table, digital tabs, kiosks and a native branded app (App Studio). It works standalone or connects to the till: Deliverect on every plan, Toast, Square, Lightspeed and Stream from Grow, Syrve, Tissl and 3S POS on Pro (pricing page).
  • Delivery can go to the restaurant's own riders or be dispatched to couriers: Uber Direct and Shipday from Basic, Nash, Pedal Me and Orkestro from Grow (the homepage also names Deliveroo Express), with live tracking for guests (homepage, pricing page).
  • Every paid order carries Storekit's own card rate, and the current pricing page no longer publishes the figures. The docs list 3.9% + 20p per takeaway order on a rolling plan (2.9% + 20p on a 12-month plan) and 3.9% + 20p on catering.
  • In-venue and catering ordering need paid plans: QR order & pay, pay-at-table and digital tabs need Pro (£199 a month rolling), catering needs Grow (£99), and POS integrations other than Deliverect start on Grow. App Studio adds £99 a month and kiosks £69 a month plus £30 per extra screen (pricing page).
  • Loyalty, the till and table bookings come from other systems: loyalty and CRM integrations are not on Basic (Klaviyo, Leat and Como from Grow; Airship and Acteol on Pro), Storekit sits alongside an existing POS rather than replacing it, and bookings come through an OpenTable integration (pricing page, docs).

Lite at $17 a month adds unlimited orders, your own domain and online payments on your own Stripe account; Pro at $39 adds the restaurant's own delivery riders and WhatsApp order updates. Its own POS is a $10-a-month add-on, and it doesn't connect to outside EPOS systems.

3. OlaClick

Small restaurants, cafés and dark kitchens in Latin America that want a low-cost, commission-free ordering menu with WhatsApp ordering and a simple POS.

OlaClick gives a restaurant a digital menu and ordering site with QR, table and WhatsApp ordering, a kitchen screen, delivery management and a rider app, with 0% commission. A free plan covers 10 orders a month; the Advanced plan is $9.90 a month billed annually, the lowest published price on this list.

Online payments
Online payments depend on the country: D24 (cards, bank transfers and local methods) is available in most countries where OlaClick operates but not in Brazil; OlaPago, processed by dLocal, is available only to accounts in Peru; in Brazil the help centre covers PIX online through Tuna, credit cards through Stripe and Stone card machines at the POS. The Google Play listing also names Nequi, Daviplata, Mercado Pago and WebPay. Restaurants can also set up manual (offline) payment methods.

Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · WhatsApp ordering or updates · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations

  • No commission on orders: OlaClick charges only a fixed monthly fee, and the restaurant receives payments directly (OlaClick pricing page FAQ).
  • Low entry price: a free plan with 10 orders a month, and paid plans from US$9.90 a month on annual billing, priced in local currency in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru (OlaClick pricing page and 2026 plans article).
  • One product covers the ordering menu with its own domain, QR and table ordering, WhatsApp ordering and an AI chatbot, a POS with a waiter app, delivery management with a rider app, loyalty and, from the Premium plan up, a kitchen screen (OlaClick home page and pricing page).
  • Order caps on the cheaper plans: 10 orders a month on Free, 75 on Advanced and 400 on Premium; only Elite (US$59 a month on annual billing) and Infinity have unlimited orders (OlaClick 2026 plans article and pricing page).
  • The headline prices are for 12-month plans paid upfront; paying month to month costs more, for example US$12 instead of US$9.90 for Advanced (OlaClick pricing page).
  • Several tools are country-limited: OlaClick says online payments, POS integrations, delivery-app integrations and electronic invoices are available only in some countries; electronic invoicing is only for Brazil and Colombia, OlaPago is Peru-only and D24 is not offered in Brazil (OlaClick pricing page and help centre).

4. Take App

Small restaurants, cafés and home kitchens in almost any country that already take orders on WhatsApp and want a free menu link with local payment methods.

Take App gives a restaurant a free menu link where customers order for delivery, pickup or at the table by QR code, with 0% commission on both plans. Basic is free (50 orders a month saved), Business is $50 a month, and it works with local payment methods in about 25 countries.

Customers pay through the restaurant's own gateway account. Take App lists 32 gateways, including Stripe, PayPal, Xendit, Razorpay, Paystack, Flutterwave, Mercado Pago, M-Pesa Express, HitPay, Adyen, Paymob and Tap, and 128 payment methods in all. The country pages list local methods such as M-Pesa, Airtel, Paystack, Flutterwave and Pesapal in Kenya, and Mercado Pago, OXXO, CoDi and Clip in Mexico. Manual methods (bank transfer, QR such as PayNow, cash on delivery, with payment-proof upload) work on the free plan. Automatic card payments need Business. Take App says it never holds the restaurant's money.

Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · WhatsApp ordering or updates · Multiple locations · Reservations

  • Free Basic plan with 0% commission and unlimited products, and 0% commission on the $50-a-month Business plan too (Take App pricing page).
  • Takes no payment-processing fee on any method: the connected gateway charges its own rate and pays the restaurant directly (Take App help centre, Payment Processing Fee).
  • Local payment methods in many markets, for example M-Pesa, Airtel, Pesapal, Paystack and Flutterwave in Kenya; Paystack, Flutterwave and NIBSS/NQR in Nigeria; and Mercado Pago, OXXO, CoDi and Clip in Mexico (Take App country pages; 32 gateways on the integrations page).
  • The free plan saves only 50 orders a month to the dashboard. After that, orders still reach the restaurant's WhatsApp but are not saved to the dashboard (Take App pricing page).
  • Card payments, automated WhatsApp order updates, a custom domain, the delivery-fee calculator, courier and driver tracking, loyalty and analytics all need the Business plan at $50 a month (Take App pricing comparison and FAQ).
  • Business includes 1,000 automated WhatsApp messages a month. After that, each message costs $0.05, and each store over five costs $8 (Take App pricing page).

5. Deonde

Restaurants that want to start free on a commission-free ordering site and later pay per outlet for a branded app, loyalty and their own drivers.

Deonde's restaurant product, Ressto, gives an ordering website with QR table ordering and reservations, with 0% commission on every plan. Basic is free (100 orders a month, cash only); Growth is $39 and Scale $99 per restaurant a month, the top plan adding a branded app, loyalty and a driver app.

The restaurant connects its own gateway account and receives the money directly. Ressto lists Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, SumUp, Xendit, Authorize.Net, Clover, USAePay, CardConnect and Bambora (Worldline), plus cash on delivery and pay at counter. Deonde's FAQ adds PayFort, Telr, Paystack, Flutterwave, MTN Mobile Money, M-Pesa, Apple Pay and Google Pay, saying gateways vary by region, and its country pages mention GCash and Maya (Philippines) and Lanka QR (Sri Lanka). Online payments need Ressto Growth or above; the free Basic plan is cash only.

Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Branded app · Multiple locations · Menu translation · Reservations

  • Free-forever Ressto Basic plan with an ordering website, up to 10 QR codes for ordering, table reservations and 0% commission, for up to 100 orders a month (Ressto pricing page).
  • 0% commission on every plan and no per-order fees on Ressto plans; the restaurant uses its own payment gateway, with Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, SumUp and six more listed (Ressto pricing and integrations pages).
  • The Scale plan ($99 per restaurant a month) includes a branded iOS and Android app published under the restaurant's name, a loyalty programme, and delivery management with a driver app and live tracking (Ressto pricing page).
  • The free Basic plan takes cash payments only, caps orders at 100 a month and carries Ressto's domain and branding; online payments start on Growth at $39 per restaurant a month (Ressto pricing page).
  • The branded app, loyalty, delivery management and driver app are only on Scale ($99 per restaurant a month), and POS integration is not in Basic, Growth or Scale; Ressto's POS page says it is available on custom plans.
  • Deonde's own pages disagree on plan details: the Basic menu-item limit is 50 on deonde.co but 200 on ressto.co, and the Ressto FAQ describes a $39 'Pro' plan with a branded app, while the pricing page puts the app in the $99 Scale plan.

How we scored them

Every score, so you can check the order.

Ranked by total score. Menuthere and Take App tie for the top score (10 of 10); Menuthere is our product, so Take App takes first and Menuthere sits second. Storekit also scores 9 and sits first above the other nines because its catering and pay-at-table add to a wider, worldwide reach — among the tens and nines, ties are broken by how widely each is sold, then the lowest price to start. Lower ties are broken by the lowest published monthly price.

When a rival is the better choice

Pick another system over Menuthere if…

  • Storekit: You are in the UK and want catering pre-orders, pay-at-table and a native branded app in the same commission-free platform.
  • OlaClick: You run a café or dark kitchen in Latin America and want the lowest published monthly price with WhatsApp ordering and a simple POS.
  • Take App: You already take orders on WhatsApp or sell in a country Stripe doesn't cover, and want a free commission-free link.
  • Deonde: You want to grow from a free commission-free site into a branded app, loyalty and your own drivers on one platform.
  • UpMenu: You want the store set up for you, a branded-app module and loyalty in the same commission-free platform, paid per location.
  • ChowNow: You want ChowNow's team to set up the website, menu and POS link, plus a diner marketplace, and a flat monthly fee suits your volume.

How we chose them

What put a system on this list.

  • A system qualifies if its dated profile on Menuthere shows 0% commission on the restaurant's own orders and an ordering website, and it is active. GloriaFood is also commission-free but is left out because it is closing on 30 April 2027 and no longer takes new sign-ups.
  • Each system is scored on five criteria worth up to 2 points each (10 in all). The rubric and every score are in the table above, and each point comes from a fact in the system's profile.
  • Card processing is left out of the scores because every system charges it, through its own payments or the restaurant's own processor. Prices are each company's published prices on the date in its profile.
  • Nobody paid to be on this list. Prices change: check each company's own page before you sign.

Questions

Answered, plainly.

It means the platform takes no percentage or per-order cut of the restaurant's own orders. The restaurant pays a subscription instead, plus card processing charged by its payment provider. It is the opposite of a delivery marketplace, which typically takes 15–30% of each order.

Yes. Storekit, Take App, OlaClick and Deonde all take commission-free orders on a free plan, and Menuthere's free plan includes 50 orders a month with 0% commission. Grubhub Direct is also free and commission-free for restaurants already on the Grubhub marketplace in the US.

A subscription, and card processing. Prices on this list run from $9.90 a month (OlaClick) and $17 (Menuthere Lite) up to $229 (ChowNow). A few add a setup fee or a transaction charge — ChowNow charges $119–$499 setup and 2.95% + $0.29 per transaction — but none takes a commission on the restaurant's direct orders.

Among systems with a published price, OlaClick's Advanced plan at $9.90 a month (billed annually) is the lowest, followed by Menuthere's Lite at $17. Storekit, Take App, OlaClick and Deonde also take commission-free orders on a free plan, so a small restaurant can start at no monthly cost.

Most do. Menuthere (Pro), OlaClick, Deonde and UpMenu support the restaurant's own delivery drivers; several also connect to couriers. Card processing and any courier charges are separate from the commission-free subscription.
