Flipdish pricing in the UK: plans, fees and contract terms

Flipdish's UK online ordering starts at £49 a month per site billed annually (£69 if billed monthly), and its POS and online ordering bundle starts at £119 a month (£139 monthly), excluding VAT. On top of the subscription, Flipdish takes its own fees on each order and processes every card payment itself, and neither rate is on its pricing page. The contract runs for 12 months, renews automatically, and needs 3 months' written notice to end. This page lists every price Flipdish publishes, as read on its UK site on 20 October 2026, and what it leaves for the sales call.

All prices are per site. The Essential Package says "£139 if billed monthly (ex. VAT)", and Flipdish's Irish page marks the same online ordering prices ex VAT, so expect 20% VAT on top of every figure. A VAT-registered business can usually reclaim it. Ask for each of these in writing before you sign. The rate you agree goes in your Client Agreement, which the terms treat as part of the contract.
The contract: renewal, notice and leaving early
Flipdish's terms of service (section 5) set three rules that matter more than the monthly price:
- 12-month initial term. The agreement "continues for 12 months, unless as otherwise stated in the Client Agreement".
- Automatic renewal. It "then auto-renews for 12-month periods" unless you tell Flipdish in writing at least 3 months before the end of the current term. To leave at the end of year one, your notice has to arrive by the end of month nine.
- Paying out the term. If you end it any other way, you owe "the monthly average of the previous 6 months' fees … multiplied by the number of months remaining in the Term", plus anything outstanding, within 5 days.
The terms are governed by Irish law, with the courts of Ireland as the forum.
Worked example: leaving after 7 months
Say your Flipdish fees (subscription plus order fees) averaged £180 a month over the last six months, and you stop after month 7 of the 12-month term without the notice the contract asks for.

The £180 is an example; use your own invoices. On a month-to-month plan, such as Menuthere's, the same exit costs nothing beyond the month you're in.
Year-one cost: Flipdish next to a month-to-month system
A single-site UK takeaway, 300 online orders a month at £25 (£7,500 a month).

We can't put a total on the Flipdish column because the order fees and card rate aren't published. Ask Flipdish for both in your quote and add them in. Drivers and delivery
Flipdish's pricing page lists delivery driver tracking and a third-party driver fleet as add-ons without prices, and offers Uber Direct as an add-on that sends orders to Uber couriers on a pay-per-delivery basis. Its help centre describes Shipday as "a driver tracking and delivery management solution that integrates with your Flipdish Point of Sale system", for restaurants that run their own drivers.
Menuthere Pro (US$39 a month) includes its own rider app for iPhone and Android with a live map for customers. You assign each order to a rider with one tap; there's no per-delivery fee from Menuthere. Menuthere doesn't auto-assign drivers or plan routes.
When Flipdish is the better choice
- You want one supplier for POS, kiosks, website and app, with a dedicated account manager and seven-day support by email, WhatsApp and phone (both on Flipdish's pricing pages).
- You run several sites and want central menu management and consolidated reporting across them.
- You need delivery-app orders in one place: Flipdish sells order management for Just Eat and Uber Eats orders. Menuthere doesn't pull app orders into one screen.
- You want self-service kiosks. Menuthere doesn't sell kiosks.
When a month-to-month system fits better
- You want to know the full cost before you sign. Menuthere's prices are on its pricing page: Free US$0 (50 orders a month), Lite US$17, Pro US$39, Branded App US$99, billed in US dollars, with 0% commission.
- You want your own card processor. Menuthere connects your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays you directly.
- You don't want a 12-month term. Menuthere plans are month to month. Lite and Pro have a 7-day trial that needs a card; the Free plan doesn't.
- You want WhatsApp ordering and order updates on your own number (Pro). Meta bills you directly, about £0.0159 per update in the UK.
