When Kobas is the better choice.
- Prices are published: a venue subscription from £99 a month (Starters), £250 (Mains) or £369 (All You Can Eat), with EPoS and mobile POS on unlimited devices and no user licences (pricing page).
- Order & Pay at table and Delivery / Click & Collect run in the browser from a QR code or link with no app download, carry the venue's logo and colours, and send orders straight to the Kobas EPoS or kitchen display, with loyalty points added automatically (Order & Pay and Delivery / Click & Collect pages).
- Customers can pick a collection or delivery time at checkout, see allergen and nutrition information, and are told when an item has sold out from the EPoS stock count (Delivery / Click & Collect page).
- The same back office covers stock, recipes, rotas, HR, recruitment and reservations, and multi-site groups can control menus, prices and promotions centrally (home page and pricing page FAQ).
And Menuthere's limits
What Menuthere doesn't do yet.
- Its own POS is basic (in-store billing, as a $10-a-month add-on), and it doesn't connect to outside EPOS systems such as Square, Toast or Epos Now.
- No integration with delivery apps such as Uber Eats, Just Eat or Deliveroo.
- Online payments need Stripe, which doesn't open accounts in every country.
- No kitchen display screen, no branded app below the Branded App plan ($99 a month), and no done-for-you ad management.
