What changes when you switch.

QikServe is The Access Group's digital ordering platform for hospitality: web-based order and pay from a QR code with no app download, a white-label iOS and Android app, click & collect, Pay at Table, Open Check tabs and self-ordering kiosks. It is sold in the UK to bars, quick-service restaurants and hotels, from single sites to large estates, and connects natively to Access's EPoS Evo. It charges per site per month, ex VAT: Online Ordering from £109.87, Open Check £110.60, Pay at Table £75.60, plus £35 for a POS connection and £300 setup per site.

Be fair to it

When QikServe is the better choice.

  • Per-site prices are published, which is unusual for an enterprise ordering platform: Online Ordering from £109.87 a month, Pay at Table £75.60, Open Check £110.60, ex VAT (digital ordering page FAQ).
  • One supplier covers QR order and pay in the browser with no app download, a white-label iOS and Android app, click & collect, pay at table, open tabs and kiosks, and venues can start with one channel (digital ordering and mobile ordering pages).
  • Native integration with Access EPoS Evo, an open API for other EPoS systems, and loyalty links such as Acteol Evo CRM; the mobile ordering page says it connects with over 100 EPoS, loyalty and payment systems.
  • Built for estates: central menu and price control across sites, staged onboarding for large groups, and the mobile ordering page says it runs in more than 3,500 stores worldwide.

And Menuthere's limits

What Menuthere doesn't do yet.

  • Its own POS is basic (in-store billing, as a $10-a-month add-on), and it doesn't connect to outside EPOS systems such as Square, Toast or Epos Now.
  • No integration with delivery apps such as Uber Eats, Just Eat or Deliveroo.
  • Online payments need Stripe, which doesn't open accounts in every country.
  • No kitchen display screen, no branded app below the Branded App plan ($99 a month), and no done-for-you ad management.
