Can I sell on my own website and other delivery apps while I'm on Zomato?
Updated 30 September 2026
Yes. Zomato's public restaurant terms don't ban your own website or other apps, but you may not give direct customers preferential treatment, and every dish you deliver through your own channels must also be on Zomato.
- No favouring direct customers: clause 3 i says you won't give preferential treatment to customers who order from you independently.
- Same dishes on Zomato: any item you offer for delivery on your own website, app or franchise outlets must also be available on Zomato.
- Prices: the terms, last updated 19 September 2025, contain no explicit clause making your prices match across channels.
- Your signed Form: it sets your service fee and other charges, so read it alongside the public terms.
- Your own channel: orders on your own website come straight to you; see alternatives to Zomato.
