Can I give a partial refund for a missing item on an online order?

Yes. Stripe allows partial refunds, so you can return just the price of the missing dish. The refund is paid out of your available Stripe balance.

• Partial: you choose the amount, so a missing side or drink does not mean refunding the whole order.
• Balance: refunds come out of your available Stripe balance.
• Low balance: if the balance is too low, card refunds stay pending until there is enough money.
• Tell the customer: say which item and what amount you are refunding.
