Yes. Ask for the time in the order message and confirm it back. For many orders, a link where the customer picks the time is easier.
- Ask for the day and time when the customer orders, not afterwards.
- Confirm the time back in one short message so both sides agree.
- Say how much notice you need, for example a few hours for cakes or party trays.
- By hand, a time can get buried in the chat. Write it where you see it, such as a label or a list.
- Say what happens if the customer is late or not there.
