What should I reply when a customer only writes “price?” on WhatsApp?
Updated 19 October 2026
Send your menu with prices, then ask one short question such as what they would like to order. Do not answer item by item.
- Answer with the whole menu, not one price. It saves three follow-up questions.
- End with one question: what would you like to order?
- Save the reply as a quick reply so you insert it by typing a shortcut.
- If the customer names a dish, give its price and ask for the quantity.
- Add your hours and delivery area so they do not need to ask.
Customers see every price before they ask
A menu link or Order Now button shows your whole menu with prices, so customers order from it instead of asking about each dish.
