Your own pizza ordering app, under your pizzeria's name
Updated October 19, 2026
A pizza ordering app for your restaurant is an app with your pizzeria's name and icon, on the App Store and Google Play, where your regulars order straight from you. That's different from a marketplace app, where your shop is one listing among many. With Menuthere's Branded App plan, we build your Android and iOS app and publish it for you. Customers order, pay and reorder in a tap, and you can send push notifications whenever you like. It costs $99 a month ($990 a year billed yearly), there's nothing to pay at signup, and we take 0% commission on your orders.
In short
- Your pizzeria's own app: your name and icon on Google Play and the App Store, built and published by Menuthere. Apple and Google store fees are included.
- Reorder in a tap: regulars repeat last Friday's order without building it again.
- Push notifications: order updates go to customers' phones, and you can send unlimited offers, like a Friday-night deal at 5 pm.
- Your own drivers, tracked live: customers follow their delivery in the app when you use your own riders.
- Loyalty points and WhatsApp ordering come with it, because Branded App includes everything in Pro.
- $99 a month, 0% commission. Nothing to pay at signup: your first month is paid before we start building and counts from the day your app goes live. No free trial on this plan.
Your own app vs a marketplace app
Pizza regulars tend to order the same thing again and again, and the big pizza chains already run their own apps for that reason. A marketplace app can bring you new customers, but your regulars order through someone else's brand, next to other pizzerias. Here's how the options compare for a pizzeria.
| Marketplace app | Your ordering website | Your own branded app (Menuthere) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whose name customers see | The marketplace's, with your shop as one listing | Yours | Yours, on their home screen |
| Who owns the customer relationship | Shared with the marketplace | You | You |
| Reorder a past order in a tap | Depends on the app | Customers order again on the site | Yes |
| Push notifications to customers | Sent by the marketplace, not by you | No (Pro stores can send WhatsApp order updates instead) | Yes, unlimited, written and timed by you |
| Fees | Set by each marketplace; check their terms | Menuthere: Free $0, Lite $17, Pro $39 a month, 0% commission | $99 a month, 0% commission |
On every Menuthere plan, your card payment gateway charges its own processing fee. Menuthere takes nothing on top.
What a pizzeria gets with a Menuthere branded app
| You get | What it means for a pizza shop |
|---|---|
| Your own app on Android and iOS | Your pizzeria's name and icon on Google Play and the App Store. Menuthere publishes it, and Apple's $99 a year and Google Play's $25 developer fees are included. |
| Order, pay and reorder | Customers browse your menu, order and pay in the app, and repeat a past order in a tap. |
| Sizes, crusts and toppings | Set sizes, variants and add-ons on each pizza in your Menuthere menu (every plan includes them). The app uses that same menu. |
| Order status on their phone | Accepted, ready, on the way: each step is pushed to the customer, so fewer "where's my pizza?" calls. |
| Your own riders with live tracking | Deliver with your own drivers and customers track the delivery live in the app. |
| Loyalty points | Customers see their points in your app. |
| Unlimited push notifications | A title, a message and an optional photo. Send to all app users or followers only, now, scheduled, or repeating daily or weekly. |
| Everything in Pro | WhatsApp Business API on your own number, discounts, advanced analytics and several outlets. |
| Staff app that rings | Your team receives orders on the Menuthere partner app for Android and iPhone. It rings until each order is accepted. |
| One menu everywhere | The app and your ordering website share one menu, one order list and one customer list. Change a price once and it changes everywhere. |
Push notifications that fill quiet nights
You write each notification yourself in Sales channel → App → App notification. The title can be up to 65 characters and the message up to 240, with an optional image. A few ideas for a pizzeria:
- Friday night: "Pizza night is on. Order before 7 and skip the wait." Set it to repeat weekly.
- Slow Tuesdays: "Tuesday only: free garlic knots with any large pizza." Add a discount to match.
- Game day: "Big game tonight? Pre-order your party pies now."
- New pizza: a photo of the new special and one line, sent at lunchtime.
- Followers only: a thank-you offer just for the customers who follow your store.
There's no limit on how many you send. Read more in the push notifications guide.
How to get your pizza app
- Press Get your app. Sign up with the Branded App plan. Nothing is paid at signup. Questions first? Book a call with us.
- Add your menu. Set up your store and add at least 10 dishes, each with a photo. Then press Register App on your dashboard and book a call with Menuthere's founder.
- Pay the first month, and we build it. After the call, you pay the first month in advance. Send us your app's name, icon and brand color, and we build your app and publish it on Google Play and the App Store. We tell you when it's live, and your subscription counts from that day.
- Tell your regulars. Put the app on your boxes, receipts and counter, and send your first push when they've installed it.
Does your pizzeria need its own app?
Not every pizzeria does. A quick test:
- Mostly new, one-time customers? Start with Menuthere's free ordering website. People who find you on Google or Instagram won't install an app to order once.
- Same faces every week? That's when an app pays off. Regulars keep your icon on their phone, reorder in a tap and see your Friday push.
- Running your own delivery drivers? Live tracking in your own app is a better experience than a phone call asking where the order is. See your own food delivery app.
You can start on Free, Lite or Pro and move to Branded App later. Your menu, orders and customers come with you. For the full picture of the plan, see the Branded App page and the restaurant app builder guide.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best pizza ordering app for a pizzeria?
It depends on what you want. A marketplace app can bring new customers, but they order through the marketplace's brand. If your regulars order every week, your own app keeps them ordering from you, with your name on their phone, reorder in a tap and push notifications you control. Menuthere builds and publishes that app for $99 a month, with 0% commission.
How much does a pizza ordering app cost with Menuthere?
The Branded App plan is $99 a month, or $990 a year billed yearly. That includes building and publishing your app on the App Store and Google Play, Apple's and Google's developer fees, and everything in the Pro plan. Menuthere takes 0% commission. Your card payment gateway charges its own processing fee.
Can customers reorder their usual pizza?
Yes. Customers can reorder a past order in a tap in your app.
Can I use my own delivery drivers?
Yes. Branded App includes everything in Pro, including your own riders with live tracking. Customers track their delivery live in the app.
Can I send a Friday-night offer to all my customers?
Yes. You can send unlimited push notifications to all app users or to followers only, right away, scheduled, or repeating daily or weekly.
How long until my pizza app is in the App Store?
We start building once your first month is paid and you've sent your app details, and we tell you when it's live on the App Store and Google Play. Apple's and Google's reviews set part of the timing. Your subscription counts from the day the app goes live, not from the day you pay.
Is there a free trial?
Not on the Branded App plan, because we build and publish an app for you. There's nothing to pay at signup, though: your first month is paid before we start building. If you want to try Menuthere first, Lite and Pro have a 7-day free trial (a card is needed to start it, and nothing is charged until it ends).
Do I need an app if I already have an ordering website?
Not always. The free ordering website covers new customers and opens in the phone's browser. An app helps when regulars order every week and you want to reach them with push notifications. Both run on the same menu and dashboard.
