Delivery management
Run your own delivery: assign each order to your driver, set your zones and charges, and let every customer follow the order on a live map. Orders come from your own ordering website with 0% commission.
Your own drivers and live tracking are on Pro, $39 a month. No per-delivery fee.
A card starts the trial; nothing is charged until the 7 days end. Delivery zones and charges are on every plan; your own drivers, live tracking and courier booking are on Pro.

What it does
Delivery management software answers three questions for every order: who is carrying it, where they are, and what the customer pays. Menuthere does all three for a restaurant that runs its own delivery.
Your drivers install the Menuthere Delivery App on iPhone or Android. You assign each order in one tap and they mark it delivered at the door.
The customer's order page shows the driver's name, an arrival estimate, a live map and a Call button. It opens in any phone browser.
Orders come from your own ordering website. Menuthere takes 0% on every order, and charges no fee per delivery or per driver.
How it works
The dashboard labels below are the real ones in Menuthere.
In Settings › Ordering › Delivery settings, draw a Delivery Radius or Delivery Zones on the map. Type a district's name and its real outline becomes a zone.
Charge a Flat fee, By distance or By zone, and set free-delivery bands above an order value. Checkout works out each customer's charge.
Create a login for each driver in Delivery boy settings. They sign in to the Menuthere Delivery App with the phone number and password you set.
Pick a driver on a delivery order; it moves to Dispatched and the driver gets a New Delivery Assignment push. The customer follows the delivery on a live map.
Own delivery vs delivery apps
Delivery apps and courier networks charge a fee for every delivery. With your own drivers on Menuthere the software is one monthly price, and you pay your drivers yourself.
| Menuthere Pro + your own drivers | DoorDash Drive On-Demand | Uber Direct | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who delivers | Your own staff | DoorDash's Dashers | Uber's couriers |
| Fee per delivery | None from Menuthere | $6.99 to $10.99 per delivery order | As low as $7.99 per delivery (varies by distance, speed and market) |
| How you pay | $39 a month (Pro), whatever the number of deliveries | Per delivery | Per delivery |
| Customer tracking | Live map link, no app needed | Provided by DoorDash | Provided by Uber |
| Commission on the order | 0% | Drive is delivery-only; marketplace orders carry commission | Direct is delivery-only; marketplace orders carry commission |
| Your other cost | Your drivers' pay, fuel and insurance | None for drivers | None for drivers |
Prices change: check DoorDash Drive On-Demand and Uber Direct before you decide. Outside India, Menuthere connects your own Uber Direct account, so Uber couriers can take the overflow when your drivers are all out.
A worked example
Say you deliver 600 orders a month. On DoorDash Drive On-Demand that is 600 × $6.99 to $10.99, or $4,194 to $6,594 a month in delivery fees. On Uber Direct it is from $4,794 (600 × $7.99).
With your own drivers on Menuthere Pro, the software is $39 a month. Own delivery wins whenever your drivers' wages, fuel and insurance for those 600 deliveries come to less than about $4,155 a month, even against DoorDash's lowest listed fee. This is an illustration with list prices, not a real restaurant's figures.
Be honest with the numbers. At the US median wage for delivery drivers ($18.64 an hour, BLS, May 2025) plus 7.65% employer payroll taxes, and 2.5 deliveries per driver-hour, wages alone for 600 deliveries come to about $4,816, before fuel and insurance. So own drivers pay off when each driver carries more deliveries an hour on a short radius, and many restaurants run them alongside Uber Direct for the overflow.
Put in your own wage, deliveries per hour and order count with the own delivery cost calculator, or compare what a delivery app's commission costs you with the delivery app loss calculator.
Zones and charges
Delivery takes four decisions: switch it on, set where you deliver, set what you charge, and choose who carries the order. You draw your area as a Delivery Radius (one circle around your store) or as Delivery Zones (areas you draw on the map). Type a district's name and its real outline becomes a zone.
You charge a Flat fee, a fee that grows By distance, or a separate fee By zone. The map splits your circle into rings and labels each with its price before you save, so you see exactly what each distance costs. Customers outside your area are told which areas you do deliver to and are offered takeaway instead.
Delivery zones and charges are on every plan. Free and reduced delivery bands — waiving or cutting the charge above an order value — are from the Lite plan ($17 a month).
When your drivers are busy
No drivers of your own, or all of them out? A courier can take the order instead. What is available depends on your country.
| Partner | Where | How it is billed | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Uber Direct | Outside India | Your own Uber Direct account, not Menuthere | Connect your account; Uber couriers take orders your drivers can't. Routes the overflow automatically when you accept an order. |
| Porter and Rapido | India | Your own Porter / Rapido account | Menuthere books a rider for each order, automatically or when you press Book rider. Auto-booking is an add-on sold on request. |
| Shiprocket | India | Your own Shiprocket account | Ship parcels across India, or use Shiprocket Quick for a same-city rider. |
| Menuthere delivery pool | India | On the Pro plan | Invite riders or approve their requests; accepted orders go to your linked riders automatically. |
You can route by distance: your own rider nearby, an instant courier further out, a parcel service beyond. Porter, Rapido, Shiprocket and the delivery pool are available in India only. Outside India, use your own drivers with Uber Direct for the overflow.
Good to know
You assign each order. For your own drivers, Menuthere doesn't pick a driver for you, plan routes or batch several orders into one run. You choose the driver on the Orders screen in one tap, and can change driver later. A courier such as Uber Direct can be booked automatically when you accept an order.
No photo proof of delivery. The driver marks the order delivered in the app.
WhatsApp in the US sends order updates, not promotions. Meta doesn't deliver marketing templates to US (+1) numbers, so the Order dispatched message with its Track Order button works, but offers don't. Use email for offers in the US.
Which plan has it
Delivery itself works on every plan. The drivers-and-tracking side is on Pro.
