Why did Porter charge more than the fare shown when I booked?
Updated 11 October 2026
Porter says the fare shown at booking is indicative. The final fare can change with actual distance, trip time, waiting time and other charges.
- Guide only: the fare at booking is not the final price.
- What changes it: actual distance, trip duration, waiting time and other charges.
- Base fare: the two-wheeler fare includes 1.0 km and 25 minutes of order time, and road tax or parking is extra.
- Tip: have the order packed and ready before the rider arrives, to avoid waiting time.
Set your own delivery charge
Menuthere's delivery zones and fees let you set the delivery charge your customers pay, so your price does not move with a courier's fare.
