For Saudi restaurants
Jahez's CFO put its commission at 17% to 18% in March 2025. HungerStation and Keeta do not publish rates. Your own ordering page, QR codes and WhatsApp orders carry 0% commission on Menuthere.
Free plan: 50 orders a month and 0% commission. Find your restaurant on Google and your menu and ordering site are ready to share.

The short answer
An online ordering system for a restaurant in Saudi Arabia is your own ordering website plus a dashboard. Customers choose pickup, delivery or dine-in on their phone from a link or a table QR code. You get the order on your phone and keep the customer's details. The menu opens in the phone's browser, so nobody downloads an app.
Delivery apps take a share of each order (see the next section). Menuthere takes 0% on every plan. You pay for the plan: Free with 50 orders a month, Lite at US$9 or Pro at US$39, billed in US dollars.
One limit comes first. Stripe does not list Saudi Arabia among its supported countries, so Menuthere cannot take online card payments for a Saudi restaurant. Customers pay cash on delivery or at the restaurant, or through a payment link or bank details you add yourself. Menuthere does not connect Mada or STC Pay.
What you pay the apps today
None of the three publishes a rate card for Saudi Arabia. Each restaurant's rate is set in its contract, so the figures below are reports, not price lists. Many owners run an app and their own page together: the app brings new customers, and your page serves the ones you already have. Menuthere does not pull app orders into its dashboard.
| App | What the restaurant pays (reported) | Fees on top | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jahez | Its CFO put the commission at 17% to 18% in Saudi Arabia in March 2025. Jahez reported an average take rate of 15.5% for the first nine months of 2025. Charged on the order amount before tax and delivery fees. | Its prospectus says restaurants pay e-payment fees on card orders. The rate is not public. | Jahez CFO, Alseyassah, 10 March 2025. Jahez nine-month results, period to 30 September 2025. Prospectus, December 2021. |
| HungerStation | Not published. Reports put it at roughly 15% to 25% of the order value. Flow, a Saudi restaurant-software firm, said 15 to 25% in April 2026. Al Eqtisadiah put it at 23% in 2022, from merchant contracts. | Flow says payment processing adds about 1 to 2% on Saudi delivery apps and marketing can add 5 to 10% on the orders it applies to. Check your contract. | Flow, 3 April 2026. Al Eqtisadiah, 25 November 2022. |
| Keeta | Not published. Flow said entry rates are often 12% to 20% in April 2026. Keeta's CEO said only that its rates match the local market. Restaurants may also share the cost of promotions. | Not published. | Flow, 3 April 2026. Argaam, 2 November 2024. |
Illustration, arithmetic only: 300 orders a month at SAR 60 is SAR 18,000 of sales. At 17% that is SAR 3,060. At 20% it is SAR 3,600. Menuthere commission is SAR 0. This assumes every order goes through the app and the percentage applies to the order value. Real costs also include delivery and promotions. Details: Jahez, HungerStation and Keeta. Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Competition consulted on draft food-delivery guidelines in March 2025. They set no cap on commission (Argaam, 18 March 2025).
Payments
Online card payments on Menuthere run on your own Stripe account. Saudi Arabia is not on Stripe's list of supported countries (stripe.com/global, read 6 October 2026). So a Saudi store has no online card checkout on Menuthere.
Checkout shows "Cash on delivery" for delivery orders and "Pay at store" for pickup and dine-in. The dashboard marks these orders as COD, so the kitchen knows cash is due.
On every plan you can add your own payment link or bank details to the checkout. You confirm each payment yourself. Menuthere does not confirm it for you.
No card checkout, and no automatic confirmation of Mada, STC Pay or bank payments. Menuthere takes no cut of any payment. If you need payments confirmed at checkout, a system built for the Saudi market fits better. The last section names some.
Order types
Customers open your menu in their phone's browser and order without installing anything.
Customers choose Takeaway, order from your page and collect. Pay at store is available on every plan.
Customers type their address. The free plan has a delivery radius, fees and minimums. Lite adds fees by distance and delivery areas drawn on a map. Pro adds an app for your own riders with live tracking.
Print a QR code for each table. A dashboard setting can check the diner is at the restaurant before an order goes through. A second order from the same table joins the open bill. More in table ordering.
On Lite, customers pick a time. The same plan covers table slot booking. It suits cakes and party trays.
Orders ring on the partner app (Android and iPhone) until someone accepts them. Auto-accept is available. Staff logins are unlimited.
Lite translates your menu into more languages for you. Import your menu from a photo, a PDF, an Instagram or Google link. You set the store currency, so prices can show in SAR.
Channels
Many Saudi restaurants and home kitchens take orders in WhatsApp and Instagram messages today. The same orders can arrive on one page. See the free WhatsApp ordering system page and the free WhatsApp order page.
Put your ordering website link in your Instagram bio, your WhatsApp status and your Google profile. Put QR codes on tables and flyers.
Customers can chat with you on WhatsApp from the menu, and you get a copy of each order on your number.
Customers send "Hi" and get an Order Now button that opens the menu. Pro adds automatic order-status messages, broadcasts and your own WhatsApp bot. We have not tested a Saudi number on this set-up, so use the 7-day trial first. Meta bills the messages to your account, and Menuthere takes no cut. Meta's rate card from 1 October 2026 lists Saudi Arabia at US$0.0107 for utility and US$0.0576 for marketing messages (calculator).
Set-up
Plans are priced and billed in US dollars, so the riyal amount moves with the exchange rate. Month to month, no contract, and a 7-day free trial on Lite and Pro.
You can set any currency for the store, so customers see SAR prices.
In Settings, Payments, Tax, switch on "Charge tax on orders", enter a percentage and your tax number, and call it VAT. It shows at checkout and on bills. Saudi Arabia's VAT rate is 15% (ZATCA, read 25 September 2026). Menuthere does not file VAT or issue ZATCA e-invoices, so ask your accountant about your own obligations.
Free is $0 with 50 orders a month, then the menu turns view-only until the 1st or you upgrade. Lite is US$9 and Pro is US$39. See pricing.
You keep the customer list from your own orders. Lite adds full order history and a customer list export. Read who owns the customer data from delivery app orders.
Compared
A fair look at tools Saudi owners consider, from each vendor's published pages (checked 27 September 2026). This is not a ranking. The full list is the ordering systems for Saudi Arabia.
| System | What it is | Published price | Fee on orders | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Menuthere | Ordering website, QR, table ordering, WhatsApp | Free (50 orders a month), Lite US$9, Pro US$39 | 0% on every plan, no per-order fee | Owners who take cash and want a page, QR and WhatsApp at 0% commission |
| Foodics | Riyadh cloud POS with Foodics Online, an ordering website, branded app and QR menu | POS bundles in riyals. The web store comes with the Basic bundle at SAR 742 a month billed annually. | Commission-free | Restaurants that want a POS and ordering together |
| Taker | Riyadh platform for a branded Arabic and English ordering website and app, with Mada, STC Pay and Apple Pay | Not published. An archived page from January 2025 showed flat plans from US$49. | No transaction fee on that archived page | Brands and chains that want a branded app |
| EasyMenu | Saudi QR menu and ordering platform with loyalty and reservations | SAR 700 a year without ordering, SAR 1,200 a year with ordering | States no commission | Cafés and restaurants that want a flat yearly fee |
| Sufrah | Riyadh ordering menu and website with Paymob online payments, a driver app and WhatsApp order alerts | SAR 995 a year for one branch, SAR 2,995 a year for unlimited branches with the branded app. 30-day free trial. | States no commission | Restaurants, cafés and home-food businesses that want local payments |
Taker and Sufrah list Saudi payment methods at checkout (Mada, STC Pay, Apple Pay, Paymob), so payments can be confirmed there. Menuthere does not do that in Saudi Arabia.
