GloriaFood pricing in 2026: what the free plan really costs before it shuts down
Updated October 20, 2026
GloriaFood's core ordering system is free, but taking card payments online costs US$29 a month on top, and its POS is US$49 a month per location on a 2-year commitment (GloriaFood pricing page, read October 20, 2026). Two more paid services are listed: table reservation deposits at US$0.50 per guest and Advanced Promo Marketing at US$19 a month. The bigger cost is that GloriaFood is closing. New sign-ups are closed, and Oracle says GloriaFood "will reach end of life on April 30, 2027", so every restaurant on it will also pay, in time if not money, to move to another system.
In short
- Free core: unlimited orders and locations, no commission, no monthly fee, no contract, no setup fee.
- Four paid services still listed: online card payments $29/mo, POS $49/mo per location (2-year commitment), reservation deposits $0.50 per guest, Advanced Promo Marketing $19/mo.
- Two gone in 2026: the Sales Optimized Website ($9 per month) and Branded Mobile Apps ($59 per month) were on the pricing page in May 2026 and gone by June 10, 2026.
- Card fees come from your own gateway, such as Stripe at 2.9% + 30¢ in the US, on top of the $29.
- End of life April 30, 2027. Oracle offers no direct replacement; whatever you pay now runs for about six more months.
What does GloriaFood cost in 2026?
All prices from GloriaFood's pricing page, read October 20, 2026, in US dollars and "exclusive of taxes or withholdings". Only restaurants that already have an account can buy them: the live site shows only a log-in form.
| Plan or service | Price | Billing | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free plan | $0 | No contract, no card | Unlimited orders and locations, website ordering widget, Facebook ordering, QR code menu for dine-in, table reservations, scheduled orders, promos and coupons, drawn delivery zones, reports |
| Online / Credit Card Payment Service | $29 a month | Monthly | Connects GloriaFood to your payment gateway; "the money does not pass through us" |
| Restaurant POS System | $49 a month per location | 2-year commitment | GloriaFood POS with a free POS starter kit with every subscription |
| Table Reservation Deposits | $0.50 per guest | Accepted bookings only | Guests confirm a reservation with a deposit |
| Advanced Promo Marketing | $19 a month | Monthly | Multiple promos with client segmentation and targeting |
| Sales Optimized Website | Was $9 per month | Removed | On the pricing page on May 11, 2026; not on the June 10, 2026 copy or today |
| Branded Mobile Apps | Was $59 per month | Removed | Same; the iOS app also needed the restaurant's own Apple developer account |
The page's own "what's the catch?" paragraph still names "sales optimized website, branded mobile apps" among GloriaFood's premium features, but neither has a price on the page any more. If you pay for either today, check what Oracle has told you about them directly.
What fees come on top of the plan?
| Fee | Amount | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Card processing | Your gateway's fee | GloriaFood's US help centre lists gateways such as Stripe, Authorize.net, Braintree, CardConnect and PayPal (list valid as of July 2025) and says "Every payment gateway will charge a fee per transaction". Stripe's US rate is 2.9% + 30¢ |
| Payments connector | $29 a month | Needed to take card payments online at all |
| Commission or per-order fee | None | "No commission per order" |
| Setup | None | "No setup fee" |
| Reservation deposits | $0.50 per guest | Only on accepted bookings |
| POS | $49 a month per location | 2-year commitment |
| Delivery | No fee from GloriaFood | You draw your own delivery zones; GloriaFood has no driver app of its own, and tracking comes from partners such as Tookan |
| Contract | None, except the POS | The POS commitment is 2 years |
| End of life | April 30, 2027 | Oracle "does not offer a direct replacement" and points customers to FoodAmigos |
What does the shutdown add to the price?
GloriaFood's price used to be a question of which add-ons you needed. In 2026 it is also a question of how long you can use them.
- About six months left. From November 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027 is six billing months. Anything you pay GloriaFood now buys at most that.
- The POS commitment. The pricing page still lists the POS at $49 a month "per location (2-year commitment)". A two-year commitment started after April 30, 2025 would run past end of life, and the page doesn't say how Oracle handles that. If you're on the POS, ask Oracle in writing what you owe after April 30, 2027.
- No export tool announced. We found no GloriaFood page on exporting data before end of life. Download your customer list and order reports while your account still works.
- Things you'll redo on any new system: new QR codes for tables and packaging, a new order button on your website, a new ordering link on your Google Business Profile and Facebook page, and menu photos.
- Moving to Menuthere: Menuthere has a GloriaFood import that brings over your menu only, with no photos, customers or orders. You can also import a menu from a photo or PDF.
Worked example: 600 online orders a month until April 30, 2027
The same assumptions as every pricing page in this series: one US restaurant, 600 online orders a month, a $30 average order, all paid by card online. That's $18,000 a month in card payments. Card fees use Stripe's US rate of 2.9% + 30¢ on both sides ($522 + $180 = $702 a month), because GloriaFood connects to your own gateway and Menuthere uses your own Stripe account. List prices, before tax.
| Monthly cost | GloriaFood: free + payments | GloriaFood: + POS + Advanced Promo | Menuthere Lite | Menuthere Pro |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ordering system | $0 | $0 | $17 | $39 |
| Online payments connector | $29 | $29 | Included | Included |
| POS | — | $49 | Optional POS add-on, $10 | Optional, $10 |
| Promotions | Free promos | $19 | Coupons included | Coupons included |
| Stripe card fees | $702 | $702 | $702 | $702 |
| Monthly total | $731 | $799 | $719 | $741 |
| Nov 2026 – Apr 2027 (6 months) | $4,386 | $4,794 | $4,314 | $4,446 |
| From May 1, 2027 | GloriaFood ends; you need a new system | Same | Continues | Continues |
What the arithmetic shows:
- At this volume the monthly cost is close. GloriaFood with online payments is $731 a month; Menuthere Lite is $719 and Pro $741. The card fees are the same on both because both use your own Stripe account.
- If you don't take card payments online, GloriaFood is cheaper until it closes. Its free plan has no order limit. Menuthere's Free plan is capped at 50 orders a month, and online payments start on Lite at $17. If you take cash or pay-at-pickup and nothing is broken, staying until early 2027 costs you $0.
- The real saving is in timing. Moving in a quiet month, with time to print new QR codes and test, costs less than moving in the last week of April 2027 with every other GloriaFood restaurant.
When is GloriaFood still worth it?
- You already use it and only need the free plan. Unlimited orders, no commission and no monthly fee is hard to beat for the months it has left. Plan your move, but there's no price reason to rush.
- You're mid-way through the POS commitment. Get Oracle's answer on what happens after April 30, 2027 before you sign anything new.
- You rely on reservation deposits or segmented promo targeting. Both end with GloriaFood, so check that your next system has them before you choose it.
How does Menuthere's pricing compare?
Menuthere publishes every price and has no contract. Free is $0 for 50 orders a month, with an ordering website, QR codes and QR table ordering, and no card needed. Lite is $17 a month: unlimited orders, your own domain, online payments on your own Stripe account, discounts and coupons, pre-orders, table booking and menus in several languages. Pro is $39 a month and adds WhatsApp order updates from your own number, a loyalty card, reviews, several outlets, and your own riders with an iPhone and Android rider app and a live map for customers; you assign each order by hand, with no auto-dispatch. Branded App is $99 a month with your own Android and iOS customer app. Yearly billing is 10 months' price for 12 (Lite $170, Pro $390 a year), with a 7-day free trial on Lite and Pro (card needed). There's 0% commission and no per-order fee on every plan.
In the US, Meta does not deliver WhatsApp marketing messages to +1 numbers, so WhatsApp sends order updates (utility messages, about $0.0034 each, billed by Meta with no markup) but not promotions; use email for offers.

Frequently asked questions
Is GloriaFood really free?
The core ordering system is. GloriaFood's pricing page lists unlimited orders and locations with no commission, no monthly fee, no contract and no setup fee. Taking card payments online costs US$29 a month, plus your payment gateway's own fee, and the POS, reservation deposits and Advanced Promo Marketing are paid extras.
How much does GloriaFood charge for online payments?
US$29 a month for the Online / Credit Card Payment Service, which connects GloriaFood to your own payment gateway. Your gateway then charges its own fee on each payment; with Stripe in the US that is 2.9% + 30¢.
Can I still sign up for GloriaFood?
No. New sign-ups are closed and the website shows only a log-in form. GloriaFood says it will reach end of life on April 30, 2027, and Oracle does not offer a direct replacement.
What happens to my GloriaFood POS commitment after April 30, 2027?
GloriaFood's pricing page doesn't say. It still lists the POS at US$49 a month per location with a 2-year commitment, which can run past the end-of-life date. Ask Oracle in writing what you owe after April 30, 2027.
Can Menuthere import my GloriaFood menu?
Yes, the menu only. Menuthere's GloriaFood import brings over your menu, with no photos, customers or orders. You can also build a menu from a photo or PDF.
What did GloriaFood's website and branded app cost?
The pricing page listed a Sales Optimized Website at $9 per month and Branded Mobile Apps at $59 per month until May 2026. Neither appears on the page from June 2026 onward.
