The Chefz commission · Saudi Arabia · checked October 2026
The Chefz doesn't publish its commission in Saudi Arabia, and no reputable source reports a Chefz-specific percentage. For context, Saudi industry guides in 2026 put delivery-app commissions at roughly 15% to 30% of the order — a market range measured on HungerStation, Jahez and Keeta, not a figure for The Chefz. Your exact rate is set in your contract.

The rates
Your own agreement with The Chefz sets your rate. These approximate ranges come from public sources, listed at the foot of the page.
| Order type | The Chefz delivers | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Saudi market context (not The Chefz's own rate) | ~15–30% | The general Saudi band: Flow put base commission at 15–25% in April 2026 and a July 2026 marketing guide (SEC-INTEL) went up to 30%, measured on HungerStation, Jahez and Keeta. The Chefz publishes no rate and none of these cover it. |
Card processing
The Chefz doesn't publish a card fee or say whether payment processing is inside the commission. Check your contract.
VAT on the commission
Saudi Arabia charges 15% VAT, and delivery apps generally add VAT to their fees. The Chefz doesn't publish how VAT appears on its invoices, so check your monthly statement.
Other charges
The Chefz doesn't publish any ads, device or subscription fees. Check your contract.

Figures are estimates from the numbers you enter. The Chefz agreements differ by plan, location and volume, and platforms change their fees, so your The Chefz payout statement is the source of truth. The direct column assumes every order is paid by card at about 3%, before your ordering plan's fee; cash and pay-at-counter orders cost nothing. Worth knowing
Competition authority. Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Competition consulted on draft food-delivery guidelines in March 2025, covering predatory pricing, selling below cost, exclusive contracts and discrimination between restaurants. It sets no cap on commission.
The Chefz is a Riyadh-based food and sweets delivery app, still operating in 2026 and part of the Jahez group following a 2022 acquisition agreement. Parts of the deal's financing were later reported as not fully closed; either way, The Chefz runs as its own app with its own merchant terms.
The Saudi guides that break out rates by app (Flow, April 2026; SEC-INTEL, 2026) cover HungerStation, Jahez and Keeta, never The Chefz. Older 2022–2023 figures exist but are too stale to quote as current.
The 15–30% band above describes the market The Chefz competes in, not The Chefz itself. For Jahez's own reported Saudi rate, see the Jahez Saudi Arabia page.
A The Chefz alternative for your regulars
A delivery app is a good way to be found and an expensive way to serve people who already know you. Give your regulars your own ordering link, and the commission on their orders stays in your business.
