Can I take food orders through Instagram Shop with checkout inside the app?

Not with in-app checkout. Since September 2025, Shops on Facebook and Instagram send customers to the business's own website to pay. Link your own ordering page in your profile instead.

• Website checkout: customers are sent to your own website to pay.
• In-app checkout: discontinued by Meta.
• Link in profile: put your ordering link in your Instagram profile.
• Stories and posts: point them to the same link.
