A white label restaurant app with your name on it, built for you
Updated 19 October 2026
A white label restaurant app is an ordering app that a software company builds and runs, published under your restaurant's own name and icon. Customers download "your" app from the App Store and Google Play; the ordering system behind it belongs to the software company. Menuthere's Branded App plan works this way, and we do the work: we build your Android and iOS app, publish it under your name, and connect it to your menu, orders and customers. It costs US$99 a month (US$990 a year billed yearly), billed in US dollars, with Apple's and Google's developer fees included and 0% commission on your orders. There's nothing to pay at signup.
In short
- White label means someone else's proven app, wearing your brand. You don't commission custom software and you don't build anything yourself.
- Your name and icon on both stores. Menuthere builds the app and publishes it on Google Play and the App Store. Store developer fees are included.
- Nothing to pay at signup. You pay the first month after a call with our founder, before we build, and your subscription only counts from the day the app goes live.
- Customers order, pay, collect loyalty points and reorder in your app, track their delivery live when you use your own riders, and get order updates as push notifications.
- Everything in Pro runs behind it: WhatsApp ordering on your own number, loyalty points, your own riders and several outlets.
- US$99 a month, 0% commission. See the Branded App plan or book a call.
What "white label" means when a UK supplier says it
Search for a white label app in the UK and you'll meet three different things under one name. Ask which one you're being sold before you compare prices.
| What's sold as "white label" | What you actually get | Who does the work after launch |
|---|---|---|
| App code or a "script" | Source code for an ordering or delivery app. A developer installs it, brands it, hosts it and submits it to the stores | You, or a developer you pay: hosting, store submissions, every iOS and Android update |
| A development agency build | A custom app made for your business, quoted per project | The agency, under a separate maintenance contract |
| An ordering platform's app under your name | The platform's customer app with your name and icon, running on its ordering system | The platform |
Menuthere is the third kind. Your app is Menuthere's customer app, branded as yours and running on the same menu, orders and customer list as your Menuthere ordering website. That's why it's a monthly plan and not a project fee. If you need features nobody else has, a custom build from an agency is the better fit; see what a restaurant app costs to build in the UK.
Questions to ask any white label supplier
Before you sign with anyone, Menuthere included, get written answers to these:
- Whose name is on the store listing? Customers should see your restaurant, not the supplier, in the App Store and Google Play.
- Who pays Apple's and Google's developer fees? Apple's Developer Program is US$99 a year and Google Play's registration is US$25 once. Some suppliers pass these on.
- What do you take per order? A monthly fee, a commission, a per-order charge, or a mix. Ask for every fee in writing, ex and inc VAT.
- Who handles store reviews and updates? New iOS and Android versions arrive every year, and an app that isn't updated can stop working properly.
- Is the app tied to a till or card terminal you sell? Some UK branded apps come bundled with an EPOS contract.
- Who keeps the customer list? Check the data clauses in the contract.
With Menuthere, the answers are: your name and icon; store fees included in the US$99; 0% commission (your card gateway, such as Stripe, charges its own processing fee); we handle the build, store submission and updates; no hardware contract; and your customers sit in your own dashboard.
What UK platforms publish about their branded apps
UK ordering platforms that offer an app under your name don't all publish prices. This is what each one shows on its own website, checked on 19 October 2026, with prices as published (Flipdish's are ex VAT).
| Platform | What it says about the app | Price it publishes |
|---|---|---|
| Flipdish | Its UK plan lists "your own branded website and apps" | Essential Package from £119 a month billed annually per site, or £139 billed monthly (ex VAT) |
| OrderYOYO | "Your own branded website and app" | No price published. It charges commission that falls as your order volume rises |
| Slerp | "Branded web & app" and "plans with 0% commission" | Its pricing page is password-protected |
| Menuthere Branded App | Your own Android and iOS app under your name, built and published for you | US$99 a month or US$990 a year, billed in US dollars, store fees included, 0% commission |

What commission-free means on a £20 order
On a marketplace, the commission comes off every order. Just Eat publishes 14% + VAT when you deliver and 30% + VAT when it delivers, so on a £20 order it takes £3.36 or £7.20 (Just Eat commission UK). Uber Eats publishes 30% + VAT when Uber delivers (Uber Eats commission UK). On your own app with Menuthere, the commission on that £20 order is £0; you pay your card gateway's fee and the flat monthly plan.
What you get with Menuthere's white label app
| You get | What it means |
|---|---|
| Your own app on Android and iOS | Your name and icon on Google Play and the App Store, published by Menuthere. Store developer fees are included. |
| Ordering and payment in the app | Customers browse your menu, order, pay and reorder a past order in a tap. |
| Loyalty points and live tracking | Customers see their points in the app and track their delivery live when you use your own riders. See the restaurant loyalty app page. |
| Order updates on their phones | Each order's status (accepted, ready, on the way) is pushed to the customer's phone. |
| Unlimited push notifications | Send offers and news to all app users or to followers only: now, scheduled, or repeating daily or weekly. See how push notifications work. |
| Everything in Pro | WhatsApp ordering on your own number, loyalty points, your own riders with live tracking and several outlets. |
| One dashboard | The app and your ordering website share one menu, one order screen and one customer list. Change a price once and it changes everywhere. |
| Staff app | Your team takes orders on the Menuthere partner app for Android and iPhone, which rings until each order is accepted. |
| Priority support | Priority support for your store, plus the call with our founder before we build. |

Is a white label app right for you?
- Most orders from first-time customers? Start with a website. People who find you on Google, a leaflet QR code or a marketplace won't install an app to order once. Menuthere's free ordering website runs on the same menu and dashboard.
- Regulars ordering every week? That's when your own app earns its keep: your icon on their home screen and a push notification on a quiet Tuesday.
- Need features built only for you? White label isn't the answer. Talk to an agency about a custom build.
You can start on Free, Lite (US$17 a month) or Pro (US$39 a month) and move to Branded App later. Your menu, orders and customers come with you.
For UK agencies and consultants
If you look after restaurants' marketing or tech, join the Menuthere agent programme. You earn 20% of what each restaurant you bring pays for its plan, Branded App included, every month for as long as it keeps paying. Each app is published under the restaurant's own name.
How to get your white label app
- Press Get your app on the Branded App page or the pricing page, and create your store. Nothing is paid at signup.
- Add at least 10 dishes with photos. Then Register App switches on in your dashboard.
- Book a call with our founder to go through your app's name, icon and colours.
- Pay the first month and send your details. After the call you pay US$99 in advance, then send your app's name, a square icon (a PNG of at least 1024 × 1024 pixels), your brand colour and a one-line description.
- We build and publish it on Google Play and the App Store and tell you when it's live. Your subscription counts from that day.

Frequently asked questions
What is a white label restaurant app?
It's an ordering app built and run by a software company and published under a restaurant's own name and icon. Customers see your brand in the App Store and Google Play, while the ordering system behind it belongs to the company.
How much does a white label restaurant app cost in the UK?
It depends on the supplier. Flipdish lists its Essential Package, which includes branded website and apps, from £119 a month billed annually or £139 monthly, ex VAT. OrderYOYO and Slerp don't publish prices. Menuthere's Branded App plan is US$99 a month, or US$990 a year billed yearly, with store fees included and 0% commission.
Is the price in pounds?
No. Menuthere bills UK stores in US dollars, so you pay US$99 a month and your bank converts it to pounds.
Who publishes the app, and who pays the store fees?
Menuthere builds your app and publishes it on Google Play and the App Store under your restaurant's name. Apple's and Google's developer fees are included in your US$99 a month.
Do you take commission on orders from my app?
No. Menuthere takes 0% commission on every plan. Your card payment gateway charges its own processing fee.
How long does it take to get my app live?
We don't promise a fixed date, because store reviews vary. Apple says it typically reviews at least half of submissions in under 24 hours and 90% in under 48 hours, and Google says some reviews can take up to seven days or longer in exceptional cases. We handle the reviews and tell you when your app is live, and your subscription only starts counting from that day.
Do I pay anything when I sign up?
No. You add 10 dishes with photos, register your app and book a call with our founder. You pay the first month in advance after the call, before we start building.
Is there a free trial?
Not on the Branded App plan, because we build and publish an app for you. You can try Lite or Pro free for 7 days first (you add a card to start, and nothing is charged until the trial ends), then move to Branded App.
Can agencies resell a white label restaurant app?
UK agencies and consultants can join Menuthere's agent programme and earn 20% of what each restaurant they bring pays for its plan, Branded App included, every month for as long as it pays. The app is published under the restaurant's own name.
