Official Meta Tech Provider
Menuthere is an official Meta Tech Provider. Your WhatsApp ordering, broadcasts and live order updates run on Meta's own WhatsApp Business Platform, the same one global brands rely on.
What you get free
Most builders give you pages first and add ordering later. Here the ordering website is the first thing you get. Below it are real restaurant sites on Menuthere.
Your menu, with a cart and checkout, lives on a Menuthere link with your store name. It opens in any phone browser. Nothing to install.
Unlimited items and photos on every plan. Import the menu from a photo, a PDF, an Instagram page or a Google link, then fix what you want.
Print the QR code for tables and the counter. Takeaway, delivery and dine-in table ordering are all on the Free plan. See QR code menus.
Customers can chat with you on WhatsApp, and you get a copy of each order on your number. On Pro, a customer who messages you gets an Order Now button that opens the menu. See WhatsApp ordering.
Pick your brand colour and a menu design. The Free plan has one theme. Lite has all themes and brand colours, and takes the "Ordering by Menuthere" badge off.
Search engines are served your restaurant name as the page heading and every dish with its description and price as text, not a picture of a menu.
How it works
No design skills and no code. You start from facts Google already has about your restaurant.
Use the box at the top of this page, the same one the homepage uses. Pick your listing.
Fix anything that is wrong, add what is missing and pick a menu design and your brand colour.
Put the link in your Google profile and Instagram bio, and print the QR code for tables. Orders ring in your dashboard and the partner app for Android and iPhone.
On Lite you can edit the landing page yourself, use all themes and connect your own domain. See the table below for what each plan has.
What is free
The ordering website is free. Looking like your own brand is where Lite starts. There is a short free online ordering systems comparison if you want the wider picture.

After 50 orders a month on the Free plan, the menu turns view-only until the 1st, or you upgrade. Payment gateways charge their own fees. Lite and Pro have a 7-day free trial. Full details on the pricing page.
The landing page
Your menu is one page. A landing page is the home page around it: who you are, where to find you and a button to order. On Menuthere it sits at your store link followed by /home.
You edit it in the dashboard on Lite and Pro. Each section is a short form: change the text, upload photos, switch a section on or off. You can also fill it from your Google listing in one step.
On the Free plan you have the ordering website and the menu. Editing the landing page yourself starts on Lite.
Compared
Wix, Squarespace and WordPress make good restaurant sites. The difference is where ordering comes from. Facts below are from each company's own pages, read on 7 October 2026. Prices change and vary by country.
| What you compare | Menuthere | Wix | Squarespace | WordPress |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Where ordering comes from | Part of the site on every plan | Wix Restaurants Orders app, free to install | Third-party extensions or links: Allday Ordering, ChowNow (US and Canada only), Tock | A plugin you choose, such as Orderable |
| Cost to take orders | $0 on Free (50 orders a month). Lite $9 a month for unlimited orders | The site must be upgraded to accept online orders and payments. Paid plans run from about $17 to about $160 a month, billed yearly (US) | A paid Squarespace plan (14-day free trial), plus the ordering service you connect. Tock is a separate subscription | WordPress and WooCommerce are free software. You pay hosting, paid extensions and payment fees |
| Commission on your orders | 0% on every plan | Wix calls its ordering commission-free | Not Squarespace's to set: each extension has its own terms. Squarespace's own online-store fee is 2% on Basic, 0% on Core and up | WooCommerce says $0 platform fee. Orderable says no commissions |
| Card payment fees | Charged by your gateway, not Menuthere | Wix Payments: 2.9% + $0.30 per card payment in the US | Set by the payment provider you connect | Set by the payment provider you connect |
| Dine-in table QR ordering | Free plan | Yes, QR-code dine-in ordering | Depends on the extension | Depends on the plugin |
| Chat and order copy on WhatsApp | Free plan. Order Now button on Pro | Not listed on its restaurant pages | Not listed on its restaurant pages | Depends on the plugin |
| Your own domain | Lite ($9 a month) | Paid plans allow a custom domain | Free for the first year on annual plans, then the standard rate | You buy the domain and hosting |
Sources are listed at the foot of the page. A general builder can suit you better if the site is mostly about events, a blog or reservations. If a Wix or Squarespace site already exists, you do not have to rebuild it (see below).

Which to pick
You do not have to choose one tool for everything.
You want menu, cart, checkout, table QR, WhatsApp and a dashboard that rings when an order comes in, at 0% commission, without adding plugins. Start free and move to Lite for your own domain.
Wix, Squarespace and WordPress give you more control over page layouts, a blog and extras. Expect to add ordering on top, and check what it costs.
Keep it. Squarespace's own help says any ordering service can be linked as an "Order Now" navigation link. Point that button at your Menuthere menu link and the orders come into one dashboard.
Start with a digital menu or the free WhatsApp order page. You can move to the full ordering website later.
Your own domain
On Lite and Pro you can put your menu on an address like order.yourrestaurant.com. You enter the domain in the dashboard and Menuthere shows the DNS records to add at the company where you bought it.
You buy the domain from a registrar yourself. You rent a domain and never own it outright, MDN notes, so renew it on time and keep the registrar login safe.
The Free plan uses your Menuthere link, which is enough to share on Google, Instagram and WhatsApp.
Sales by day, hour and dish — counted from the orders you already take.
Take UPI, card and wallet payments at checkout, each matched to its order.
Send offers to customers who have ordered, and win back the ones who drifted.
Discount codes, free items and points your customers redeem at checkout.
Every order lands on your dashboard, your phone and your kitchen printer at once.
Assign an order to your own rider; your customer follows it on a live link.
