Can I deliver DoorDash orders with my own drivers?
By the Menuthere editorial team · Last updated
Yes, in the US. With DoorDash Self-Delivery, your own drivers deliver DoorDash orders at a 15% commission (12% on DashPass orders). You set the delivery area and the fee customers pay, and you keep that fee and the tips.
- Backup Dashers: with the flexible fulfillment option, a Dasher costs a flat $6.00 a delivery, for orders after your drivers' hours or outside your area.
- Compare: when Dashers deliver Marketplace orders, DoorDash charges 15% on Basic, 25% on Plus and 30% on Premier. See DoorDash US commission.
- Orders arrive on the DoorDash tablet, by email, by fax or in some POS systems. Customers see at checkout that you deliver your own orders.
- DashPass stays on: eligible members pay lower fees when they order from you, and the commission on those orders is 12%.
- Not the same as Drive On-Demand, which sends Dashers to orders placed on your own website instead.
Your own drivers, without the commission
On your own Menuthere ordering site there is no commission, whoever delivers. Your drivers use the Menuthere Delivery app on iPhone or Android, and customers follow the driver on a live map from a tracking link.
