What if a guest doesn't have a smartphone or doesn't want to scan?
By the Menuthere editorial team · Last updated
Never force the scan. Staff can take the order the usual way and the guest can pay at the till.
- Keep a pad or your usual way of taking orders for guests who prefer it.
- sunday says guests without a smartphone pay through the server or POS.
- me&u says guests who do not want to use it can order with a server.
- Tell staff to offer help once, politely, and then take the order themselves.
- Older guests often like a waiter. Do not make them feel they must use a phone.
Scan if they like, staff if they don't
Menuthere orders from the table QR land in your dashboard and ring on the partner app, so staff only need to take orders by hand for guests who prefer not to scan.
