What should I do with damaged or old QR codes on tables?
By the Menuthere editorial team · Last updated
Replace a scuffed or torn code at once and remove old codes, so guests never scan the wrong one. Test each code after you stick it.
- Check your table codes every week for scuffs, tears and spills.
- Print a new code the same day a table code stops scanning.
- Peel off old codes from earlier menus or tables so they cannot confuse guests.
- Scan every new code yourself and confirm it opens the right table.
- If you change table numbers, make the codes again. Toast says codes must be regenerated.
Reprint a worn table code in minutes
Menuthere gives you QR codes to print and share for each table, so a worn code is replaced by printing a fresh one from your dashboard.
