Should I turn off blue ticks (read receipts) on my restaurant's WhatsApp?

You can switch read receipts off in Settings, Privacy. Then you stop seeing other people's receipts and cannot see who viewed your Status. Clear order updates matter more than ticks.

• Where: Settings, then Privacy, then read receipts.
• You lose: other people's read receipts and the list of who viewed your Status.
• Read receipts are always sent in group chats.
• If someone not in your contacts messages first, your read receipt does not show to them until you reply or add them.
