Should I turn on disappearing messages in my restaurant's WhatsApp order chats?

Usually no. Messages disappear after 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days, so you could lose an order you still need.

• The default timer is under Privacy. It applies to new chats and new messages only.
• A person can forward or screenshot a disappearing message before it goes.
• A backup made before the message disappears keeps it.
• Unopened messages vanish after the time you set.
• Keep order records for bills, refunds and disputes.
