Questions owners ask

Answered, plainly.

Add up what one plate costs you in food, then divide by the share of the price you want to spend on food. A plate that costs ₹120, at a 35% food cost, is priced at ₹120 ÷ 0.35 = ₹343, rounded up. The tool does this for you. Staff, transport and rentals go in as extras.

The client's name, the event date, venue and number of guests. Then the menu, the price per plate, each extra with its price, tax, the total, and how much is paid in advance. Add how long the quote is valid and your terms, such as when the final guest count is needed.

That is your decision. The tool starts at 50% as an example, and you can change it. It works out the advance and the balance, and prints both on the quote. Write the date the balance is due in your terms.

You choose. Tax can be inside your prices, added on top, or left off. The starting rate is the usual restaurant food rate for your country, and catering can have its own rate, so check yours before you send a quote. See the menu price calculator for how tax is shown on menu prices.
