DoorDash vs Uber Eats vs Grubhub: which is best for your restaurant?

Updated October 20, 2026

On a delivery order, DoorDash and Uber Eats each take 15% to 30% depending on the plan, with card processing included, while Grubhub takes from 15% to 30% plus card processing on top. For pickup, DoorDash charges 6% and Uber Eats 7%, but Grubhub charges its full marketing commission of 5% to 20%. On a US$40 delivery order that's US$6 to US$13.52 per order in fees, against about US$1.46 in Stripe fees for the same order placed on your own ordering page. Most restaurants use one or two apps for reach and send repeat customers to a direct link.
