What fees does talabat charge besides commission?
By the Menuthere editorial team · Last updated
talabat publishes no full fee list. Besides commission, the costs it names are a one-time registration fee in Egypt, ads you bid for and discounts you fund. It publishes no amounts.
- Egypt: the one-time registration fee covers account setup and a complimentary photo session; talabat doesn't publish the amount.
- Ads: you bid for premium visibility in the app; talabat publishes no ad price list or minimum spend.
- Discounts: partners funded about US$588m of customer savings in 2025, 6.2% of talabat's GMV.
- Tablet and subscriptions: talabat provides an order tablet, but whether it's free and any restaurant subscription fee aren't published. DineOut has “no sign-up fees”.
- Kuwait: commission, ads, promotion and paid placement together are capped at 17% of order value; see talabat commission in Kuwait.
