Is there a sign-up fee to join Zomato?
By the Menuthere editorial team · Last updated
Yes. Zomato's restaurant contract lists a one-time, non-refundable sign-up fee, but the amount is not published. It is set in the form each restaurant signs.
- The contract also lists a service fee (formerly called commission) and a payment mechanism fee, a percentage of order value including taxes.
- None of the amounts are in the public terms. They sit in the form you sign.
- Ask for the form in writing and read every fee before you sign.
- The terms on Zomato's page were last updated on 19 September 2025, and Zomato can change its terms.
- Compare the sign-up fee and the monthly deductions with what your own ordering link would cost.
