How do I check that a WhatsApp payment is real before I cook?

A screenshot is not proof. Check your own bank or payment app for the money, with the right amount and name, before you start cooking.

• Open your bank or payment app and look for the money. Do not trust only the customer's screen.
• Match the amount, the time and the sender's name with the order.
• For new customers or large orders, wait for the money before you cook.
• Ask for a payment reference if the money is slow to show, and recheck after a few minutes.
• Write 'paid' next to the order only after you have seen the money yourself.
