How do I count my WhatsApp orders at the end of the day?
By the Menuthere editorial team · Last updated
Write each order in one log as it comes in, with the time, items, total and payment status. Add up the log at closing, not the chat, and the day takes two minutes to count.
- Use one place for the log: a notebook, a spreadsheet or one shared sheet for all staff.
- Write the time, customer name, items, total and whether it is paid.
- Mark each order delivered or cancelled when it is done, so nothing is left open.
- At closing, add up the paid totals and compare them with cash and payments received.
- Never count from memory or from scrolling the chat. Orders get missed that way.
Orders counted for you
Orders from your Menuthere link are saved in your dashboard as they arrive, so the day's orders and totals are ready without copying anything from chats.
