What should I do when a customer sends a location pin instead of an address on WhatsApp?

A pin helps the rider, but it is not enough alone. Ask for the flat, floor or landmark and a phone number, then repeat the full address back.
- Thank them for the pin, then ask for the flat or house number, the floor and a landmark.
- Check the pin is inside the area you deliver to before you agree to the order.
- Ask for a phone number the rider can call at the door.
- Repeat the full address and the delivery fee in one message and ask for one yes.
- Save the address in the order note so the rider sees it, not just the pin.
Orders that arrive with a usable address
On your Menuthere link the customer adds their address at checkout and your delivery areas and fees apply to it, so you get an order with a clear address and not a pin to decode.
