What should I do when a customer wants to cancel a WhatsApp order after paying?

First check whether you have started cooking. If you have not, cancel and refund the way they paid. If you have, explain kindly and offer a fair option.
- Ask the customer to wait a moment, then check with the kitchen whether the order has started.
- If cooking has not started, cancel and refund through the same payment method.
- Tell them how long a refund may take, and do not promise a time you cannot keep.
- If cooking has started, offer a part refund or to keep the order for later pickup.
- Write one simple cancellation rule and send it with the payment details next time.
See at once if an order has started
Every order on your Menuthere link shows its status in your dashboard, so you can see in a second whether you have accepted or started it before you agree to a cancellation.
