The best food truck online ordering systems, scored
A food truck needs a link or QR code where customers order ahead for pickup, without paying a marketplace cut and without heavy hardware. These seven name food trucks in their own pitch and do that. All take 0% commission on the truck's own orders (one charges a per-order rate on its free tier), three include ordering on a free plan, and published prices start at $0. Every price and feature below is each product's own.
Menuthere publishes this list and makes one of the systems on it (number 3). Every figure comes from the companies' own pages, dated on each system's page. How we chose them is at the foot of the page.

The best food truck online ordering systems, scored
No percentage commission (GoPOS calls GoOrder commission-free). Basic and Pro include 50 and 200 online orders a month; each order above that is charged from 0.40 zł to 1.50 zł depending on volume. Unlimited has no per-order fee.

Contract
Not published. Plans are billed monthly or yearly.
No locked-in contract; cancel or switch plans anytime (US pricing page and General Terms). Outside the US, paid Square Online plans are priced per month billed annually, with a different price if paid monthly, and plans can be switched at any time.
Month to month; 14-day free trial on Lite and Pro
Prepaid plans of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months; the headline prices need the 12-month plan paid upfront. Automatic renewal can be switched off with one click (pricing page FAQ).
Monthly or annual licence. The annual licence is paid up front, is up to 19% cheaper, and is not refunded if the venue closes early. The terms say the agreement runs for the period of the chosen plan, closing the account does not cancel fees for the period already bought, and if GoPOS ends a fixed-term agreement for reasons on the customer's side (such as late payment) it can claim the remaining fees as a contractual penalty. Moving to a lower package takes effect from the next billing period.
Monthly and success tariffs: 3-month minimum, then cancellable monthly with 1 month's notice; yearly tariff cancellable 1 month before it ends; both renew automatically. Business customers only.
Set in each offer, paid in advance and not refundable. Annual subscriptions run for a firm first year and then renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled in writing two months before the end. Some offers carry a fixed 12- or 24-month (or longer) commitment that cannot be ended early without becash's written agreement, and that also renews automatically unless cancelled two months before the end. Short-term event licences start at 1 month and do not renew. Payment terminals have no subscription or commitment.

The best food truck online ordering systems, scored

1. Menubly
Small cafés, food trucks and takeaways anywhere that want a low-cost menu link, QR menu and pickup/delivery ordering sent to WhatsApp or a simple dashboard.
Menubly is a self-serve online menu, QR code menu and one-page mini website builder aimed at small restaurants, cafés, bars, bakeries, food trucks, ghost kitchens and caterers. Orders for pickup and delivery arrive in a web dashboard or as a pre-filled WhatsApp message. It lists a free forever plan with online ordering, and a Pro plan at $9.99 a month, with 0% commission.

Online payments
Online payments go through Stripe. The restaurant connects its own Stripe account (Stripe Connect) and diners pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay and other methods Stripe supports in that country. There are separate help guides for businesses in the US and the UK. Restaurants can also collect payment manually (cash on delivery, bank transfer or a payment QR code) and send an invoice link from the order dashboard.
Includes: Own ordering website · Pickup · Delivery orders · Online payments · WhatsApp ordering or updates · Multiple locations
Published prices: a free forever plan that lists online ordering for pickup and delivery, and Pro at $9.99 a month or $95.99 a year. The FAQ says there is a 30-day free trial with no credit card needed (menubly.com pricing page).
No commission on orders. Menubly says it adds no fees on top of Stripe's card charges and charges nothing for manual payments such as cash on delivery or bank transfer (menubly.com pricing FAQ; help centre article on collecting payment).
Diners can pay online by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay and other methods through the restaurant's own Stripe account. Orders can also be sent to the restaurant's WhatsApp as a pre-filled message with items, total, customer name and phone, and the restaurant gets a WhatsApp message for each new order (help centre: Stripe, WhatsApp ordering and order management articles).
Dine-in QR ordering is limited. Menubly's guide says diners build a cart and show their phone to a waiter to place the order, one QR code serves every table with no table numbers, and each menu can use only one ordering mode at a time, dine-in or online (help centre: dine-in ordering with QR codes).
Order handling is basic. Orders are listed in a web dashboard where staff update order and payment status by hand. You can search orders but the help centre offers no filter by date or status, orders cannot be edited, and printing uses the browser's print function. Delivery is arranged by the restaurant, which copies the address into Google Maps or a delivery app (help centre: managing orders).
The pricing pages contradict each other. The plan table lists a free forever plan with online ordering, but the FAQ says that after the 30-day trial it costs $9.99 a month to keep all features, including online ordering. Pro includes only 1 online menu and 1 QR code menu; each extra menu, for example for another branch, costs $9.99 and is added by emailing or messaging Menubly (menubly.com pricing and online menu pages; help centre: creating an online menu).
Food trucks and cafés already on Square POS in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, Japan, France or Spain that want a free, commission-free ordering page.
Square Online is Square's ordering website: orders go straight into Square POS, the kitchen printer or Square KDS. It is for restaurants, cafés, bakeries and food trucks using Square payments in the 8 countries Square serves. The Free plan has no monthly fee and no commission, only Square's card rate per order; paid plans (US from $49 a month per location) add QR ordering and loyalty.

Square processes every online payment itself: credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Cash App Pay in the US; Square Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay in Australia and Canada; Square Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Clearpay in the UK. The restaurant needs a Square account.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations · Reservations
Free plan with no monthly fee and no commission on direct orders; the restaurant pays only Square's card processing fee (Square online ordering page and plan pages).
Online orders arrive in Square POS and go to the kitchen printer or Square KDS, and menus, items and stock stay in sync between online and in-store sales (Square online ordering pages).
Pickup (including curbside), delivery by the restaurant's own staff with postal-code or radius zones and distance-based fees, or on-demand couriers (DoorDash or another courier Square picks in the US, DoorDash in Canada, Stuart in the UK); customers can schedule orders days ahead (Square help centre, Canada and UK pages).
Online payments go through Square at Square's rates; in the US the Free plan charges 3.3% + 30¢ per online card payment, against 2.9% + 30¢ on paid plans (Square pricing page).
QR table ordering, loyalty, email marketing and a custom domain need a paid plan: Square Plus at $49 a month per location in the US; in Australia QR ordering and pre-orders need Plus at A$36 a month, billed annually (Square pricing and plan pages).
Only available in the 8 countries Square serves (Square About page).
Food trucks and small stalls that want their own commission-free ordering page and QR menu for pickup, starting free, with their own delivery riders when they grow.
Menuthere gives a food truck its own ordering website, QR menu and pickup ordering with 0% commission on every plan; the free plan includes 50 orders a month, Lite is $17 a month and Pro $39. On Pro, a truck doing drop-offs can assign its own riders with live tracking. There is no delivery-app integration, which a single-pitch truck rarely needs.

Online payments
Online payments depend on the country: D24 (cards, bank transfers and local methods) is available in most countries where OlaClick operates but not in Brazil; OlaPago, processed by dLocal, is available only to accounts in Peru; in Brazil the help centre covers PIX online through Tuna, credit cards through Stripe and Stone card machines at the POS. The Google Play listing also names Nequi, Daviplata, Mercado Pago and WebPay. Restaurants can also set up manual (offline) payment methods.

No commission on orders: OlaClick charges only a fixed monthly fee, and the restaurant receives payments directly (OlaClick pricing page FAQ).
Low entry price: a free plan with 10 orders a month, and paid plans from US$9.90 a month on annual billing, priced in local currency in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru (OlaClick pricing page and 2026 plans article).
One product covers the ordering menu with its own domain, QR and table ordering, WhatsApp ordering and an AI chatbot, a POS with a waiter app, delivery management with a rider app, loyalty and, from the Premium plan up, a kitchen screen (OlaClick home page and pricing page).
Order caps on the cheaper plans: 10 orders a month on Free, 75 on Advanced and 400 on Premium; only Elite (US$59 a month on annual billing) and Infinity have unlimited orders (OlaClick 2026 plans article and pricing page).
The headline prices are for 12-month plans paid upfront; paying month to month costs more, for example US$12 instead of US$9.90 for Advanced (OlaClick pricing page).
Several tools are country-limited: OlaClick says online payments, POS integrations, delivery-app integrations and electronic invoices are available only in some countries; electronic invoicing is only for Brazil and Colombia, OlaPago is Peru-only and D24 is not offered in Brazil (OlaClick pricing page and help centre).

GoOrder takes online payments through Tpay (BLIK, Google Pay, Apple Pay and fast bank transfers) or Autopay (fast transfer/BLIK, plus cards after separate card verification), using the restaurant's own account with that provider. Customers can also pay by cash, card or voucher. In the venue, GoPOS Payments accepts contactless card, phone and BLIK payments on the All in One device or a PAX A35 terminal.

Prices are published and there is no percentage commission. GoOrder starts at 49 zł net a month on an annual licence (59 zł month to month), and the Unlimited package (349 zł a month annually, 399 zł monthly) has no order cap.
Orders from the own online shop, QR table orders, and Uber Eats, Glovo, Pyszne.pl, Wolt and Bolt Food orders (via the GoHub module) all arrive in the same GoPOS POS, and menu changes made in GoPOS are sent to the shop (within 15 minutes when automatic sync is on).
Tools for running your own delivery: delivery zones with their own fees and minimum order values, orders for a chosen date and time, a driver app with live driver location (89 zł a month annually, 99 zł monthly) and a phone-order module (49 zł / 59 zł a month).
The cheaper packages cap orders: Basic includes 50 online orders a month and Pro 200. Each extra order costs between 1.50 zł and 0.40 zł, depending on volume.
It is built for Poland. Prices are in PLN, the POS works with Polish fiscal devices (a fiscal printer or GoPOS's virtual fiscal till), and online payments run through Polish gateways (Tpay, Autopay).

Guests can prepay pickup, delivery and pre-orders online, with tip suggestions. The support portal lists PayPal and Stripe (paid into the restaurant's own account); Gastronovi Pay, Gastronovi's own payment service, also takes online payments by card, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Loyalty cards can be used as a payment method with the Kundenbindung module.

Pickup, delivery, pre-orders, QR table orders and self-order terminal orders all come into the Gastronovi POS, and rules can accept orders automatically, for example when prepaid, within set hours or above a minimum order value (Gastronovi ordering system page).
Prices are published per module: the ordering module is 69 EUR a month (690 EUR a year) with no commission, or 29 EUR a month plus 5% of online sales on the success tariff (Gastronovi price overview).
Own delivery with up to ten delivery zones set by postcode, each with its own delivery fee and minimum order; Lieferando, Wolt and Uber Eats orders can be brought in through Deliverect for 29 EUR a month plus 299 EUR setup (Gastronovi support portal and integrations page).
Works only with the Gastronovi POS: the ordering module needs the POS module (69 EUR a month for the first licence) and cannot connect to other POS systems (ordering system FAQ).
Not self-serve: restaurants book a consultation, then receive a tailored offer, and Gastronovi sells to businesses only (contact page and terms).
Monthly and success tariffs have a 3-month minimum term, and monthly and yearly tariffs renew automatically; the success tariff adds a 99 EUR setup fee per module (price overview).

Online payments
Webshop orders are paid online through the restaurant's own myPOS account (myPOS API Checkout, settled in CHF). With the QR table-ordering module, guests pay on their phone, but becash does not name the gateway. Deposits for online table bookings go through Stripe. In store, myPOS terminals accept Visa, Mastercard, TWINT, PostCard Mastercard, AMEX (subject to myPOS approval), Maestro, V Pay, JCB, UnionPay, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus Lunch-Check on the myPOS Pro. becash's comparison article also lists Nexi terminals as integrated.
The licence price is published: CHF 69 a month excl. VAT for one device and CHF 35 for each extra device. It includes stock control, a customer file, a table plan, multi-site management, gift and member cards, and TWINT and card payment integration.
One system covers the till and, as paid modules, a webshop with click & collect, delivery zones and ordering time slots, QR table ordering, a self-order kiosk and kitchen screens. Webshop orders sync automatically to the till.
It runs on Android hardware (iMin tills, Android tablets) and can run directly on a myPOS payment terminal. Hardware starts at CHF 289 excl. VAT.
Online ordering (the webshop), QR table ordering, loyalty and table booking are paid add-on modules, and their prices are not published.
Under becash's terms, annual subscriptions are firm for a year and renew automatically unless cancelled in writing two months before the end. Fixed 12- or 24-month offers cannot be ended early without becash's written agreement, and a missing feature is not accepted as a reason to cancel.
It is sold only in Switzerland: becash's terms say its prices are valid only in Switzerland, and its advisers cover French-speaking Switzerland.
Ranked by total score. Menubly, Menuthere and Square Online tie near the top on fit, a free start and reach; Menubly leads because it is a self-serve truck-friendly builder with online ordering free and no per-order fee, and Square Online sits at rank 2 (it depends on Square's own card rate per order, scoring 1 on fees). Menuthere scores the same as Menubly but is placed 3rd because it publishes this list. OlaClick, GoPOS, Gastronovi and becash follow; among regional POS suites, ties are broken by the lower entry price and wider reach, and a price that isn't published ranks last.

When a rival is the better choice
Pick another system over Menuthere if…
Menubly: You want the simplest free menu link and QR code for your truck anywhere in the world, with orders on WhatsApp or a dashboard.
Square Online: You already take payment on a Square reader at the truck and want a free ordering page that feeds the same POS.
Menuthere: You want your own branded ordering page and QR menu with 0% commission and no per-order card dependency, and the option of your own riders later.
OlaClick: Your truck is in Latin America and you want WhatsApp ordering, a menu and a light POS in local currency.
GoPOS: Your truck is in Poland and you want one Polish system for the till and your own commission-free ordering shop.
Gastronovi: Your truck is in the DACH region and you want a German-made POS with fiscal compliance and its own ordering module.
becash: Your truck is in French-speaking Switzerland and you want a locally installed and supported till with online ordering added on.
How we chose them
What put a system on this list.
A system qualifies if its dated profile on Menuthere is active, its own text names food trucks (or street food / mobile vendors), and it gives the truck its own ordering channel — an ordering website or QR ordering — with pickup.
Each system is scored on five criteria worth up to 2 points each (10 in all). The rubric and every score are in the table above, and each point comes from a fact in the system's profile. Card processing is left out because every system charges it.
Menuthere, which publishes this list, is ranked 3rd, not 1st: it gives a food truck its own commission-free ordering page, QR menu and pickup from a free plan, which fits well, but it sits below systems whose own text is built around trucks and stalls.
Prices are each company's own published prices on the date in its profile. Where a company publishes no price, the table shows a dash.
Nobody paid to be on this list. Prices change: check each company's own page before you sign.
Questions
Answered, plainly.
It depends on where you trade. For a free, self-serve menu link and QR code anywhere, Menubly or Menuthere fit; if you already take payment on Square, Square Online is free and feeds the same POS. In Latin America, OlaClick; in Poland, Germany/Austria/Switzerland, GoPOS, Gastronovi and becash run the till and ordering together. Each profile on this page gives the price and fees.
Menubly includes online ordering on a free forever plan, Square Online has a free plan (you pay only Square's card rate per order), and Menuthere's ordering page starts free with 50 orders a month. OlaClick has a free plan capped at 10 orders a month.
None takes a percentage commission on the truck's own orders, except through card processing. Square Online's free plan relies on Square's card rate per order, and GoPOS charges a small fee above its order package. Payment providers charge their own card or wallet fees on top.
Most food trucks only need pickup or order-ahead, which every system here supports. If you also drop off nearby, Menuthere lets you assign your own riders on Pro, and OlaClick, GoPOS and Gastronovi include delivery. None of these makes you list on a delivery marketplace.
