What do I say when a WhatsApp customer asks if the food is fresh?
By the Menuthere editorial team · Last updated
Answer in plain words: say when it is cooked and what goes into it. Never promise something you cannot check, because one wrong claim costs more than a short honest answer.
- Say when the dish is cooked: 'made fresh after you order' only if that is true.
- Say what is made ahead and what is made to order. Customers trust a clear split.
- Send a photo of today's dish if you can. It answers more than a long message.
- If you do not know, say you will check and come back within a few minutes.
- Do not argue or sound offended. The question is usually about trust, not an insult.
