foodpanda doesn't publish its commission in Pakistan: it offers several commission packages and shows your exact rate when you register, and new partners pay an onboarding fee. Public reports put the commission at about 25% to 35% of the order, so these figures are approximate.

The rates

Card processing
foodpanda doesn't say. LetMenu's 2026 guide says card and wallet payments usually cost another 2–3% on top of the commission.
Onboarding fee
Charged to new partners: foodpanda asks for the payment slip with your sign-up documents. It doesn't publish the amount.

Worth knowing
Competition inquiry. In July 2021 the Competition Commission of Pakistan opened an inquiry, after complaints from the All Pakistan Restaurant Association and the rival app Cheetay, into whether foodpanda abused a dominant position, including by charging exorbitant commissions and tying restaurants into loyalty deals.
foodpanda operates in 35 Pakistani cities and says it handles up to 20% of its restaurant partners' food business, according to Arab News in August 2025.
Uber agreed in July 2026 to buy Delivery Hero, foodpanda's parent company, including foodpanda Pakistan. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2027.
