Uber Eats charges restaurants in Portugal 30% of the order when its couriers deliver (33% on orders from Uber One members), 20% when you deliver yourself (23% on Uber One orders) and 15% on pickup, plus €3.49 a week. Card processing is included, and 23% VAT is added to the fees.

Included in the commission. Uber Eats lists payment processing in every plan, with no separate card fee.
VAT on the commission
Yes. Uber Eats' Portuguese terms say its fees exclude VAT (IVA) and the restaurant pays the VAT on top, at Portugal's standard rate of 23%. A VAT-registered business can usually deduct it.
Weekly subscription
€3.49 a week. It covers a tablet and/or printer, menu set-up, professional photos, a window sticker, a welcome pack and a training call; opting out of items lowers the cost.
Ads
Optional. You can buy ads in the app to appear higher in search and category results.
