Worth knowing
In 2020 Economix reported that efood charged restaurants that deliver themselves 10–12% plus VAT (14% for new shops), against 22–25% plus VAT when its riders deliver. We found no newer figures.
efood's revenue rose 33% to about €280 million in 2025, with commission income up €40.6 million as orders grew.
Greece's Competition Commission put efood's share of food orders placed through platforms at 75–85% in the first half of 2021.
