Jahez doesn't publish its commission in Kuwait. Its CFO put commission in Kuwait at 20% to 25% in March 2025, but since July 2026 the law caps what an app can charge a restaurant at 17% of the order value when it delivers and 10% when you deliver yourself, with ads and every other fee counted inside the cap.

Card processing
Kuwait's cap counts everything an app charges you, whatever it's called, so any card or payment fee has to fit inside the 17% (10% if you deliver).

Worth knowing
Commission cap. Since July 2026, everything a delivery app charges a restaurant, including commission, ads, paid placement and its own delivery service, is capped at 17% of the order value when the app delivers and 10% when the restaurant delivers itself, per order, before the customer's delivery fee. Existing contracts had until 1 September 2026 to comply.
Exclusivity and price parity. Apps may not require exclusivity, stop you charging less elsewhere, make you use their riders, or punish you for listing on other apps, for example by raising your commission, lowering your ranking or delaying your payouts.
Delivery fee. The customer pays the delivery fee, capped at KD 1 an order. If you deliver yourself, the whole fee goes to you.
Penalties. Breaches found after 1 September 2026 can bring warnings, a temporary closure of the app or the loss of its licence.
Kuwait first set rules for restaurant delivery apps in February 2026 (Ministerial Decision 10 of 2026). Decision 109 replaced them in July, adding the caps and extending the rules to every delivery platform. Kuwait Times reported that some apps had been charging up to 35% of an order.
In March 2025 Jahez's CFO said commission in Kuwait and Bahrain ran from 20% to 25% and that Jahez planned to raise it there. In its results for the first half of 2026, Jahez said it was adapting its commercial model to Kuwait's cap.
Jahez is moving its business outside Saudi Arabia onto Snoonu, the Qatari app it bought in 2025. Snoonu launched in Kuwait in May 2026, building on Jahez's restaurant relationships.
