Included in the commission. Uber Eats lists payment processing in every plan, with no separate card fee.
VAT on the commission
Yes. Uber Eats' terms say its fees exclude VAT and the restaurant pays VAT on top, at Ireland's standard rate of 23%. A business making taxable sales can usually reclaim it.
Activation fee
€650, once. It covers a tablet, a printer, menu set-up, photos, a window sticker, a welcome pack and training; opting out of items lowers it.
Offers and ads
Optional. Promotions you fund and sponsored listings you buy are charged separately, plus VAT.
