Can I use my Instagram or Linktree page as the website on my Google profile?
Updated 4 October 2026
Not a good idea. Google says the website must represent your location, and it should not be a page made on a social media site.
- Google's rule: do not use URLs that refer users to landing pages other than the actual business's, including pages on social media sites.
- Use your real ordering website as the website.
- Add ordering links separately: Google lets you add your own custom ordering links.
- Keep the website, menu and order link consistent.
